ST. LOUIS -- Republicans have been running all summer with the wind at their backs -- now the fall breeze has offered the Missouri GOP a boost, too, in the form of a stimulus gust blowing towards the opposition.
The $107 million in stimulus cash awarded to Tom Carnahan, however, couldn't have come at a worse time for his siblings, both of whom are on the ballot in November.

ANOTHER FAMILY DYNASTY??????????? GET OUT!!
RIIIIIIIIIGHT.
Getting 107$ million dollars is a bad thing?
$107 million dollars is a lot of walking around money.
Keep an eye out for that sorta thing.
That’s what the HOW MUCH?!? stimulus bill was for.
And, 100 billion to acorn, payable october 2012.
If we win both the house and the senate, what can be done to stop or prevent that spending from taking place, if anything?
He will probably get reelected to his 4th term in congress.
He is a Pelosi Lap dog.
It is now high season for politicians to be seen on TV. Those ads are not cheap, but they win elections, especially if you have more bucks than your opponent.
No doubt everyone in the state knows which party features Carnahans, but still...in this short article, the Republicans/GOP are mentioned six times, the word “Democratic” appears only once. The opening makes it sound like “Massive govt loot distributed to kinfolk, to the advantage and great joy of the GOP.”

Maybe we need a tea party money bomb for Ed. He’s a pretty straight shooter...
Tea Party favorite, Ed Martin, is running against Russ. St. Louis Tea Party is one of the biggest, most active in the country & many fine conservatives are in the area. I think Martin has a good shot at it.
IF Russ Carnahan wins, it will be because of the dead voter and pets vote. (ACORN has been active in St. Louis for over a decade.)
Anyone who can help Ed Martin win this seat, please do!
Russ is in Gephardt's old district (I used to live in it), which is a mixed bag, politically. Ed Martin does have a shot, although the odds are against him.
