And here we thought of ourselves as such open-mined people.
A mine is a terrible thing to waste.
There is one Lithium mine in Silver Peak Nevada, more may be developed around Crescent Valley.
Nevada probably has a few REE deposits, our ancient volcanic activity and sediment from the old inland sea make them likely.
But Pinky Reid and the EPA/Sierra Club have put most of the state off limits to prospecting and certainly to opening new mines.
If you ever got to visit the Black Rock Desert before it became the Black Rock Wilderness via Reid’s “Amendment” conniving, you would have seen the many mineral colors apparent there.
All off limits now!
Wow. Can you believe this? References to "Avatar"? No wonder nobody takes MSNBC seriously.
It ought to be interesting to see how quickly liberals will betray their “principles” when they have finally destroyed our energy sector, manufacturing sector, and as a result, the entire economy, and wake up one day to find out there is no gas to get to work with, no jobs to go to, no money to buy food with, and finally, no food.
Liberals are the worst offenders when it comes to being unable to “think beyond stage one” as Thomas Sowell puts it. They are always most surprised at the logical outcome to any action they propose, when that outcome is negative and one stage removed from the obvious. No wonder Thomas Sowell has said he is pessimistic.
Liberals have always taken it for granted that they will have jobs, food on the table and gas in their car, and gave us a politician who is determined to demolish all of those things.
Liberals are the ones who will scream the loudest to open up mining and drilling at the foot of Yosemite Falls itself. Perhaps then we can use our natural resources in this country.
Yes, there is:
No, Sarajevo, you are incorrect - - Your picture shows anti-matter... An exotic substance... ;)
