Dear Paul:
Morality is measured mainly by TWO things: ethics in business, which you are for, and ethics in sexuality: which you seem to have problems with.
The trouble is that these things are NOT separable, because at the core of business ethics is respect for contract and honesty.
Marital infidelity breaches both. The products of infidelity are the fruit of a poison tree, we bring them into our world with too heavy a burden forever attached onto them. Abortions and birth control are no real cure — for abortions are like murder, and leave an indelible mark on the persona and blight on souls of the parents. Birth control? Well that is lesser a direct mark, but it induces an attitude of callousness and selfishness — the hallmark of Sodom.
Abortions create a great despair of constant victimhood in a culture, birth control allows selfishness, combined with infidelity: no culture can survive these very long.
And look! Just as our culture tolerated and then celebrated sexually libertine amorality, so too did our books go bad. That’s right! The two morally-based areas: sex and business — are inseparably joined.
Well put - when one can easily walk away from the reponsibility of parenting, it's real easy to walk out on a mortgage.
Marriage contract, loan contract - both broken like it was a walk in the park.
Disgusting.
