President Obama will answer questions about the economy at a town hall meeting that is scheduled to air at 12:00 PM on CNBC today. Obama has been working overtime to defend his administration's record on the economy, firing back at Republicans who want to blame Democrats for the bad economy. The President has been on the offensive over the past few weeks, accusing GOP lawmakers of blocking key aid to small businesses and tax cuts for the middle class.

So, I guess he’s holding the Town Hall at 12 Noon so that people who actually have jobs will be at work.
Who choose the audience? How about the questions?
The only thing econotard Obama learned about economics is this: "Political power comes from the barrel of a gun..."
“So, I guess hes holding the Town Hall at 12 Noon so that people who actually have jobs will be at work.”
That, and BHO doesn’t really get going until 9, so by noon, he should be almost fully awake.
Those 6 hour workdays and the busy party schedule take a toll on the lazy SOB.
For the life of me, I don’t know what he can defend!
Yes, but that still leaves a lot of people able to attend. Regardless, you can bet those present and asking questions were carefully screened. I’m guessing there will be at least one question from a child.
i may miss the event, as looking at him and listening to him makes me sick.
cnbc is a proper venue; no one watches... and highlights, if any, can be culled and distributed nationwide via still viable apparatus...
I heard on Morning Joe that they were unable to get “the otherside” because “the otherside” had better things to do. Did not want to participate with Obama at all. It was funny. John Harwood was the guy I think???
Ive had to turn CNBC off most of last week due to their 24-7 advertising of this staged event by DNC shill john harwood.
Uh huh. Rush is going to have a field day with this.
"Mr. President, what can you do to stop the mean, evil Republicans from taking away my Grandma's Social Security, throwing my daddy out of work, eliminating my school lunch program, destroying the environment, and killing my puppy?"
Why is this happening now? The mid-terms are close, but I’ll bet they sense the retirees and 401K people are ready to pull their money out of the market. Just guessing.
Hah! The “other side”?
Tell ya what- let Rick Santelli go up against Obama.
The president won’t understand it- he doesn’t grasp basic econ 101- but it would be a public service for the audience.
A few nights ago, I was up tossing and turning trying to figure exactly what to say. Finally, when I couldnt get back to sleep, I rolled over and asked (NBC News anchor) Brian Williams what he thought, Obama said.
Bhahahahah, just hilarious.
CNBC’s parent company, GE is still hoping that The Kenyan will give them cap and tax as payback for all the propaganda. But CNBC’s viewers on Wall Street aren’t buying Obama anymore.
The Wall Street investment bankers aren’t making their numbers this year and the layoffs are going to ramp up again. Obama bailed out their bonuses once, but it’s not going to happen again.
Let there be no doubt, this will be a friendly like minded crowd. A waste of time quite honestly.
Harwood is a joke..
