The New York Times has a major piece this morning outlining the White Houses response to last weeks dramatic surge in Republican primaries by Tea Party candidates. After months of mocking and sneering at the Tea Party movement and largely ignoring its rising success, Obamas advisers are now contemplating a major campaign against it. According to The Times:

I'd say it upsets them even more. They really need to promote the illusion of 'bi-partisanship' to paper over the ugliness of party-line voting in the congress. One or two liberal 'Republicans' aint enough to convince the public that they aren't being force-fed socialism. Castle would be much more valuable in this regard than Coons, an admitted Marxist. So much for democrat 'strategists' and their holy grail of phony 'consensus'. Besides, this time, every word of 'obama's planned assault on the Tea Party' will be taken personally as a slander on my character and reputation by me and millions of other voters. This could be Axelrod's epic fail. These creeps are in way over their heads.
RINO sewer cleansing for sorry excuses like Graham and Snowe and Collins must be next.
Send it to your local Tea Party Candidate, forget the RNC establishment.
My money is going here hoping to rid us of the 2 term obama butt kisser BTW before he was a US Rep he was a state Senator for over a decade:
I know they’ve written of the US 9th TN where we have an arrogant POS 2 term obama butt kisser Steve Cohen. Who says he votes like a black woman, (he’s a white, Jew) BUT won’t debate his black, GOP, Memphis Tea Party backed candidate she won 61% of the primary vote over 2 other male candidates.

I vote like a black woman, he said in an interview. I dont know the black experience, but I know about being a minority and being discriminated against because of religion.
Cohen also compares 0 to Jesus, Palin to Pontius Pilate

Yeah, I agree that the Brits are getting it — the “it” being the Tea Party movement. It seems like there have been some very informative, very accurate and very fair pieces about the Tea Party in the British press in recent weeks. You won’t see these kind of pieces in any of our liberal rags and all you get are ridicule and attacks on the Tea Party, particularly from MSNBC and NBC, which are nothing more than the Obama Kool-Aid networks. Maybe after all of those years under Labour Party rule, the Brits (at least some of them) are getting it, too.
BINGO! We have a winner (DBrow).
“They really need to promote the illusion of ‘bi-partisanship’”
lol But..every vote in congress that opposes Obama is bipartisan, with people on both sides heartily voting NO! is’nt that enough bipartisanship?
What a bunch of amateurs peeing in their pants in the West Wing at the thought of losing it all, and then panicking, and hitting back on the level of a 12 year old without any patience, pondering or strategy.
Only drawback is these people are also running our national security.
OHHHHH DO IT. DO IT OBAMAITES. ATTACK TEA PARTIES!!!!! PLEAZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Ted Mack's ORIGINAL AMATEUR HOUR onstage, folks.
LOL!
Thanks, but read on. Several posters expand on this theme far better than I could.
I would love to see a video made of hundreds of guillotines being pulled on wooden carts to the House and Senate.
I’m not advocating violences, just video of the guillotines.
And a sign that says “Last time we brought signs”
The democrats and establishment republicans are confounded with the Tea Parties.
The brilliance has been that they have no established leaders and spring up all over the place.
It is an awakening of the silent ones who have always been there but kept quiet.
it is hard to fight a thousand groups of normal people and use the Alinsky tactics. Problem is, they don’t know who all the people are in the tea party.
The more the people get out there in masses, the more afraid they become.
They aren’t afraid we are going to hurt them, they are afraid they are going to be ejected by the people.
Keep them on the ropes until you knock them out of the ring.
Gimme an example. Obamacare? Financial 'reform'? Problem is, obama isn't the problem, he's just a bad symptom. An empty suit, a rubber stamp loaded with red ink.
Well, on Obamacare, there were dems and pubblies who voted against it. That’s bipartisan!
“The Brits are really getting it.”
Certainly a few. But the UK has suffered decades of socialism because a majority don’t “get it” enough to oppose it. Most of the conservative Brits I have met voted with their feet and moved here. I will never forget meeting one at a gun show, who clutched a rifle with the biggest smile and said “God bless America!”
