Martena Clinton drove to the Congressional Black Caucus dinner at the Washington Convention Center on Saturday with high expectations. Well I guess that also proves no bad deed can go unpunished ;^)

Clinton has the handicapped tag because her husband suffered a stroke.I really don't know how it works. Can a handicapped tag be used by family members who are not handicapped?

wealth redistribution at work!
Since there was a handicap tag in the car, I'd think the car removers would have taken better care of the car, or not moved it at all. What if it had been some truly handicapped person in a wheelchair?
To: paudio
Yeah, I dunno. That caught my eye. Kinda, defeats the point.

I don’t know about DC, but in California, the tag is associated with the disabled person, not the vehicle or the driver. In other words, she was using her husband’s tag to get a better parking spot. What a typical 0bot... Going through life with a sense of entitlement.

I went to the circus at the Washington Convention Center and my car was towed to make room for some congressional staffers. I was all night getting my car back. I had to pay towing and storage fees. The also let the air out of my tires so I would not drive of without paying. I had to have some one came and inflate my tires. I had to pay.
These staffers are power hungry.

Considering that SHE is not the one with any handicap I don’t know what she was doing parking in a handicapped spot.
Maybe this whole episode is karma....

Yeah, that’s my guess too, that the tag is associated with the disabled individual, not with the car. Anyway, at the end of the article, she found her car but decided not to notify the police, and said “let them keep looking.” The police will have a good reason to bust her... misuse of handicapped tag!

You made me go look at the photo. Yup, ridiculous.
This clinton person is scum. Perhaps if she had walked a few blocks she would have found her own car. Based on her statement, the police should charge her for the extra hours they may have spent searching for a lost car. As I see it, she stole back her own car.
"An hour later, Clinton was nearly home. She had not called police to report that her lost car had been found.
Remembering how police had stopped responding to her pleas - and considering the $165 hotel bill she had just footed - she fumed: "Let 'em keep looking." "
