DeMint sponsored a bill allowing the FAA to change the law regarding how Cockpit Voice Recorder data is handled. He wants the airlines to have access to the data for “disciplinary” and “investigative” reasons. Something that is currently verboten. It is a nonsensical bill, and a monumentally foolish idea. Yet he persists. And this is something I wont overlook because he a “Real Conservative”.
