Yesterday a video surfaced of Christine ODonnells appearance on the Bill Maher show, a comedy show and place where Democrats get their news, where ODonnell claims to have dabbled in Witchcraft. Again I say is this the best these cross-burning, pot smoking, adulterous tax cheats can come up with? Lets just completely overlook the fact that she was on a comedy show. Seriously, if Robert Byrd was on this show he would have said that I dabbled in the KKK, or Hillary Clinton used to participated in strange moments of imaginary conversation with deceased Eleanor Roosevelt from solarium atop White House.

That is safer than dabbling in cocaine, no?
But the media is silent on that time in 2005 Coons was sued for
...falsely accusing [attorney Thomas S. Neuberger] of...violating federal court orders, unethical behavior and other wrongdoing...disclosing to the Delaware media that plaintiff was dying of a brain tumor and that it
was causing him to act erratically. Plaintiff also asserts that the Individual Defendants discussed his private medical information with numerous other individuals and during county government meetings

Got off under immunity but an awful thing to do.
Don’t know but I think it really depends on how you use it. And another thing. I wonder if that isn’t the real target, the national money machine that just poured all that money in. Using those old clips as an attack method is designed, at least in part, to drive a wedge between her and those *conservative* voters who will only hear her name being associated with witchcraft, but won’t get the context of the actual discussion (which, from what I saw, was Christine rebutting the idea that witchcraft was not real, a popular misconception among some liberals). This kind of associative conditioning is used by professional propagandists to drown your opponent’s message in a sea of unsavory mental associations, even if those associations are completely invalid. I think it’s called jamming.
Anyway, the point is, her campaign can’t afford to lose the national support system, so we need to help her, to the extent possible, by breaking the invalid association wherever we can. Judo politics: she should figure out a way to use the story to advance her message and transform the association from negative to positive, or even invert the signal to show the real deviltry to be the Marxist ideology driving her opponents.
I’m glad Christine agrees with me on most (all?) issues, but I have to admit I’m a little concerned that she has not exhibited the type of resume and experience I’d associate with someone being a successful Senator.
I don’t want RINOs, but I don’t want people who agree with me but cannot be effective representatives, either. I wish the Tea Party would start focusing on successful businesspeople in the communities, instead of eloquent speakers of conservative causes who don’t seem to have done much with their lives other than give eloquent speeches.
I mean, that kind of reminds me of a right-wing version of Oblahblah - a neophyte community organizer who could send thrills down Matthews’ leg.
Doesn’t the Left know that there are also good witches?
I disagree, we need people who are NOT slick snake oil sales men, which is exactly what we get when we hire somebody experienced.
What is it that blood-sucking vampires have against witches?
The good news is that grass roots success WILL bring these kinds of people out of their successful businesses IF the Tea Party movement racks up some significant wins. We need enough success on our own to attract other successful people who have a lot to lose by devoting themselves to politics full time.
Success breeds success. You can bank on it.
What goes on all day, every day AT ANY ABORTION CLINIC FUNDED BY THE MARXIST LEFT makes even the most extreme witch’s coven look like a canasta party at an old folk’s home.
With all due respect, if this were a RAT candidate we would be screaming for their head. Also, she wasn’t a kid when this occured, she made these statements as an adult! Luckily she isn’t in my district to vote for because she wouldn’t get m vote! I am all for conservatism but as Bush Senior once stated, “character matters!”
I bought Mr Rove’s book a couple of weeks ago when it first came out but it’s still in a stack along with a few others that I haven’t read yet.
Tomorrow it goes into a box to be shipped back to Mr Rove.
I could care less about losing money on it and wheather he actually sees it (With an enclosed note explaining why) makes no difference to me.
My friend got into a discussion with a co-worker about Christine, the other woman was worried about Christine’s foreclosure and not paying her student loan in a timely fashion.
My sister said, so she’s walked in our shoes, knows what it’s like to to lose everything, to struggle with bills, to fight your way back.
Don’t I wish some of these other elitists in D.C. knew more about our reality.
Worth repeating.
Abortion Clinics, Baal worshipers.
Politics is all local now - door to door - the old fashioned way.
The national media will come to her.
Exactly right,dear onyx.
My wife and I attended the Sussex County Republican picnin this afternoon, and the media coompletely mobbed Christine as she arrived and went to each table to meet and greet everyone.
There was even a reporter from France covering her who was there.
She played the MSM and Wallace just right. I still can't believe Wallace had Tokyo Rove on. He was still critical, but has toned it down a bit. He said what we have been saying here on FR--that Christine doesn't need the to go on national shows now, she needs to be with the people of Delaware.
Fellow Freepers, if you know anyone in our little First State, please talk up Christine to them--GOP, Independent, or Dem. Every vote is needed, and the election is seven weeks from Tuesday.
>>>I’d settle for COD suggesting she could borrow Nancy Pelosis broom...<<<
LOL - Nah, Pelosi’s broom doesn’t sweep very clean - must only have a couple of bristles on it (hence the draining of the swamp - broom didn’t work)
Christine needs to bring her own as - a new broom sweeps clean. (Maybe rides better too - LOL)
Hmmmmm, I grew some broom corn this year in the garden - maybe I’ll have to make her one to take with her on campaign trail and on to Washington...
Oh, thanks very much for your report, ((( exit 82 ))).
Whenever I hear from you, my outlook is brightened and I know that her campaign is on the right track with wonderful supporters like you and your wife.
I am very happy to hear that she’s even drawing interest as far away as France! I am anxious to tell my husband since ‘he’ sent Christine a donation of his own...lol.
I wish I knew someone in Delaware, but I don’t... aside from you and FReeper FRiends whom I hold dear.
I’ll make calls when the time comes again. In the interim, I’ll continue to pray and keep abreast of all her news and fight the ‘real witches’ as best I can.
Thanks again! You’re super!
To fly on...
onyx, you made me blush!
Thank you for supporting Christine on the many threads where folks here are so critical of her.
If she perfect? No.
Is she the real deal? Absolutely.
She travels with a tiny campaign staff of very dedicated people. At least those folks are committed to her.
There is no polish and grand organization—it truly is a grass roots uprising here in DE, as in other parts of America.
Christine has been like a flare in the night—illuminating the vast movement of Americans who are moving to take their country back from the professional elites who think they are our betters.
They cannot believe we are not doing this for personal gain like themselves—for power, position, or wealth—but for love of God and country, because we are the last bastion of freedom on Earth. And we won’t hand that freedom over to them.
Thank you for all YOU are doing and are willing to do.
Christine will vote to stop the insanity in DC.
And that is what we desperately need in DC right now.
