I don’t know if “boys” dabbled like girls did, but I don’t remember ANY of us girls who didn’t.
As an adult female, there is NO WAY IN HECK I would ever go near that cr@p!
Most of the dabbling seemed at least in my school to occur amongst the semi-popular girl “clicks” who were not popular enough to be part of the really popular ones.
