I can throw a rock from my home and it'd land on one of #4's fairways. I've seen Tiger, Vijay Singh and a host of others play #4 over the years but personally I've never golfed the course as I'm just not a golfer.
Looking out over the course is beautiful though!
I played Cog Hill a lot and Joe Jemsek was the owner then.
Joe was very serious about maintaining the 4 courses at Cog Hill in tip top condition. I am sure Joe is gone by now so may be the courses have changed.
#4 course is exceptional because every hole is completely different from others. I could play there after 3pm in summer for $10 in the 1960’s! After the PGA started playing there demand went through the roof since it is a public course. Last time I checked the green’s fee was $155 x 4 players and must be guatanteed with a credit card. My best score there was 87.
