As long as there's a design competition for new bills going on, I'll throw this one in for consideration...

The commies always love to emulate Europe. There is nothing wrong with the greenback. The lefties simply want to use it as yet another platform to further their agenda, and the choices I've seen presented by this moron only serves to reinforce my belief.

I think the dollar’s problems have less to do with it’s appearance and more to do with those trillion dollar budget deficts projected for the next several years.

I like the ones with Obama on the ONE. Is he planning on keeling over or something so he can be on the Money?

What they have not told you is that one NEW dollar will be equal to TEN old ones.

I like it. I like it a lot.
But, I’ve gotta admit that I’m old fashioned, and still like our traditional currency better.
I could get used to that $1 bill, though.

That one looks very European.
I see one of the suggestions is for Barack Obama on the one dollar bill, and another is for Sacajawea on the fifty.

...and FDR on the $100 bill. Why is a British citizen designing our money any how? I didn’t even know this cr@p was going on!

Nice, why even bother carrying around a hundred billion dollars. This is where the barter system comes in.

It’s a globalization thing. They want to get all of the currency the same, so they’re working with general concepts - change the size, add color, change the placement and shapes of the illustrations, etc.
Then one day, magically, why, all the currencies are SO close to each other, why don’t we just have one, hmmm? I mean, after all, they almost look the same anyway, so why not? And a poll was taken from Women’s Daily that shows how convenient all the different colors are. And they’re prettier, too, and more appealing to women, finally, after hundreds of years of having to deal with ugly green male-dominated money design.
Oh and look - there’s an iPod App for the new money, too!

They look like tickets to a museum exhibition. Traditional currency with all its engraved and complex images and backgrounds was designed in a co-evolution with counterfeiters, this stuff looks like it would be easy to copy. Of course our modern paper money is all in a way counterfeit.
