Christine O'Donnell's win on Tuesday may have shocked establishment politicians and the media, but it was no surprise for everyday Americans who have been struggling to get Washington's attention.

She is not being asked to lead, she is being asked to add one more conservative Senate vote, thats it. She will do that, she does not have to be a leader. I’d vote for a bowl of jello if I knew it would vote more conservative than some grand “leader” who will lead us off a cliff.
So what? Washington has the attention span of a hamster - and they think the public shares that trait.
>>>>Hmmm, and what will their response be?
Tokyo Karl is their response.
>>>ODonnell isnt the real deal either folks. She is a feminist shameless self promoter with a good line of gab.<<<
Met her? Talked to her? I have...
She openly admits she has her opinions (so do I)- Christian - Family - Life - etc.
BUT - the underlying position - The Constitution IS the guide and the measuring stick.
I like that!
Plus, we have the necessary number of pitchforks, if need be.
I disagree. They hear us and are afraid of us, but that does not mean they are going to change. Nor does it mean they won’t do all they can to keep what they have.
>>> “Washington can hear you now”
So what? Washington has the attention span of a hamster - and they think the public shares that trait. <<<
Then we will just have to resort to Pavlovian techniques till the ‘learn’! LOL
There was no plot. RINO Republicanism flourished because that was where the majority of the country was for the last 20 years.
Wealthy and sassy, the citizenship were like house flippers who projected the then-present economic situation out into the future ad infinitum. The minority who preached frugalism during those decades were scorned and marginalized. Shrinking government? LOLOL. Ross Perot gave fiscal responsibility his best shot, and it couldn’t overcome those who thought that they could re-fi for fun-and-games forever.
The Republican Party positioned itself where the majority of the people were. But this is now. It took a depression for Americans to realize how wrong they were. But not enough. Anyone calling for slashing wholesale is still viewed as a radical. Give it a few more years, and it won’t seem so radical...
If she can stick to the Constitution and press her position, fine. If she can just be counted on to stay firm in the Constitution and not let personal positions stand in the way of doing right, fine.
Either the good ‘ol boys see a chink in the armor or they are just plain afraid of losing their power base. I suspect the latter.
If she is a real solid Constitutional Conservative with principles they don’t want her.
If we are managing to get some people in that will never be part of the system of power that has been entrenched for decades GREAT! I have always said that someone who is not part of the political problems can’t be elected, they will not permit it. If we are invading the machines to stop this crap I am heartened.
sorry - the=they
What I see is kind of like a person sending you a picture puzzle in the mail. When delivered, there is no picture on the box to tell you what you will see when assembled.
As you work and work to try and fit the pieces in, you slowly start to see something in little snippets yet you have no real idea what the big picture looks like until you get the crucial final pieces in place.
You see a thread here today about UN Agenda 21. Obama intends to sign it. Well no big deal because we don’t think Congress would ever sign it. Maybe not.
But... Christopher Dodd has a bill which essentially is UN Agenda 21 with another name stamped on it poised to hit Congress very soon.
All they need is one RINO senator and the story on that is over.
This could easily be passed in a lame duck session.
As we look at all the small pieces of insanity hitting us daily now, the big picture is starting to form.
ghastly
yeah well, let me know how all that turns out.
Hmmm... Well, if their plan was to bring Sarah down; I’d say they’d failed miserably in that regard.
All they’ve succeeded in doing is play blacksmith to Sarah’s hot steel and forge her into a strong, deadly blade that’s going to turn around and slit their own throats.
And as far as “quality” candidates...George Allan was about as good as they come....
And he was DESTROYED...it matters not who decides to take on the DNC/MSM machine, (with the usual GOP acquiescence) they will be but a shell of themselves when it is over. Unrecognizable to family, friends, and constituents.
I don’t know. Did you catch the whole “There is no need to be afraid of what Obaba will do, he will make a fine President” thing at one of his campaign stops? I have never seen anybody come closer to publicly throwing an election in my life.
Preach it brother!
Whatever their response it will be even crazier than this.
