I don’t know. Did you catch the whole “There is no need to be afraid of what Obaba will do, he will make a fine President” thing at one of his campaign stops? I have never seen anybody come closer to publicly throwing an election in my life.

I think he just didn't have the knack to take a close election - but he did select Palin.
