John Boehner: the second of 12 kids from Ohio who is Barack Obama's elitist target
Telegraph UK ^ | September 18, 2010 | Toby Harnden

President Barack Obama is doing his best to turn Representative John Boehner, the House minority leader, into Public Enemy Number One. If Republicans win back the House of Representatives in November, as polls indicate, he will replace Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. In a recent speech, Mr Obama mentioned Mr Boehner by name nine times. A fundraising email sent out from BarackObama.com this week stated that corporate interests and lobbyists “have put all their chips on one man: Congressman John Boehner”.

Democrats have started a BeatBoehner.com website that claims he spent $1 million on "luxury hotels, exclusive golf resorts and gourmet dining for himself and his fat-cat contributors". Yet Mr Boehner's life story is the type of classic up-by-the-bootstraps tale of the American Dream that can put a tear in a voter's eye. As his story becomes better known, the Democrats could even be drawing favourable attention upon him. Right now, most Americans have never heard of Mr Boehner, and fewer still can pronounce his name, which rhymes with Rayner. The alleged elitist country club Republican is an Ohio Congressman who grew up in near poverty...

Mr Boehner, 61, is the second of 12 who grew up in a German-Irish family in Reading, Ohio, just outside Cincinnati. All but two of them still live within a few miles of each other. Two are unemployed and most of the others have blue-collar jobs. The future Congressman started work as a janitor and took seven years to get his degree – the first in the family to do so – because he had several jobs to pay his way. He joined a plastics and packaging company, rising to president before entering local politics by being elected to the town board....

Okay, so he pulled himself up by the proverbial boot-straps. That kind of success WILL NOT BE TOLERATED in Obamaland and must be ridiculed and deprecated.

Looks like he lost his roots with golf, a constant tan and being a kiss up to power.

Imagine those poor deluded fools in the SEIU who think Obama's "banker's kid" upbringing even ranks alongside Boehner's employment as a janitor to pay his way through college.

The purple shirt people are definitely on the wrong side ~

“Democrats have started a BeatBoehner.com website that claims he(she) spent $1 million on “luxury hotels, exclusive golf resorts and gourmet dining for himself(herself)and his(her)fat-cat contributors.”

A couple edits and this story could be about Moochelle(Louise Jefferson) Obama. LOL!

Read the article. I had Boehner pegged as a "go along, get along" kind of guy. His remarks last weekend reinforced that impression.

After reading the article, I think, in a different life, Boehner may have been a tea partier.

Hussein and company have picked the wrong target AGAIN. I love it. They keep shooting themselves in the foot.

OK - so now can we compare the expenses of the House Minority leader with those of NANCY PELOSI? How about just their budgets for flowers, liquor and travel?

Boehner needs to announce that when he becomes House Majority Leader- “Air Pelosi”- BIG VIP AIR FORCE JET that hauls Nan and her family to SF every weekend - is going out of business.

How about this quote from our trans-racial 'president':

Mr Boehner's deep tan is often mocked by Democrats. At a dinner last year, Mr Obama said: "He is a person of colour, although not a colour that appears in the natural world."

zero just can't find a viable target to isolate and destroy.

xero and his handlers will ultimately be faced with armed conflict if they really DO want to take control of this country.

Sure, a lot of laws are in place taking liberty from us and poised to do more damage, but since Clinton and the internet, the American public no longer needs Clayton Moore to defend the free press from evil rancher/politicians.

The NEA has failed in unteaching readin', right'n' n' 'rithm'tick.

Homeschoolers and concerned adults have not allowed our kids to be completely dumb, and we're the ones that have a fair percentage of citizens willing to stand up to, fight and even kill if we have to, those that may try to pull a Red Dawn.

If Republicans win or lose in November....put in Jeff Flake to be Republican leader of the House....

He’s young, smart, charismatic, knowledgeable about history and a real small government fiscal conservative....who

-—when we went to war in Afghanistan ans Iraq-——brought up the memory of Harry Truman and the Korean War to demand across the board budget cuts as our “sacrifice” to pay for them....against the Dem and media tide that said “raise taxes” to pay for it.....

Boehner does NOT excite either party or bring new people in to Republicans...

Does 0bama really want people to compare Boehner's background with Pelosi's? Here is a part of Wikipedia about her:

Pelosi is Italian-American and was born Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro in Baltimore, Maryland, the youngest of six children of Anunciata M. ("Nancy") and Thomas D'Alesandro, Jr., who was a Democratic party U.S. Congressman from Maryland and a Mayor of Baltimore. Pelosi's brother, Thomas D'Alesandro III, also a Democrat, was mayor of Baltimore from 1967 to 1971, when he declined to run for a second term.

Pelosi was involved with politics from an early age. She graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame, a Catholic all-girls high school in Baltimore, and from Trinity College (now Trinity Washington University) in Washington, D.C., in 1962 with a B.A. in political science. Pelosi interned for Senator Daniel Brewster (D-Maryland) alongside future House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.

Not to mention her husband (also from Wikipedia):

Paul Pelosi is an American businessman and owner of the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League. Pelosi owns and operates Financial Leasing Services, Inc., a San Francisco, California-based real estate and venture capital investment and consulting firm. In addition, he sits on the boards of many philanthropic and corporate boards in San Francisco and in the Washington, DC area.

THAT quote needs to be hung around Obama’s neck like a flaming tire, over and over and over again. ‘Post-racial’ president, indeed.

I bet Nancy Pelosi has never had her hands in mopwater.
Boehner is a perfectly nice guy but more of a Rotary Club type legislator.
He’s very popular for NOT having earmarks.

The future Congressman started work as a janitor and took seven years to get his degree

Vs Obama and his mysterious tuition source. I knew a green carder who got a fee MBA for being mexican born, while I was still paying my student loans for my undergraduate degree. And he was a lazy effer too! This $hit has to end.

Obummer and his Chicago-way cohorts despise any success that isn’t the fruit of extortion, coercion, or bribery. Boehner’s example of self-made success is anathema to their’s.

Also, when they have zero record of success to run on, their only strategy will be personal attack. It’s the first time Obummer has been so transparent at anytime in his political career.

They’ve got their cross-hairs squarely on Boehner, but there’s no element of surprise, their weapon is prone to misfire and the barrel is bent down and to the left. It’s more likely to shot Obummer in the foot.

Boehner’s has been a deer in the headlights. He might go along with tax cuts for the Middle class? Last time he exited, he’s telling Democrats they didn’t read the bill just before they passed Health sCare. They got an easy target so far.
