As I view the discourse in America today, I see two incongruities. We have an obviously Marxist president, and at the same time an overwhelming push to placate Muslims, as they push for the Islamitization of America and the world.
We hear that Obama is a Muslim, but I tend to think he is an atheist, and it is obvious that he is a Marxist.
I see America in a fight from two fronts, Marxism and Islam. Why is the Marxist media so enthralled with the Muslims, and how does this play out in the end?
Because they share a common enemy - Freedom.

butterdezillion does an excellent job of putting all the pieces together and explains quite well the connection between George Soros, the puppet master of Obama, and Soros partnership with the Islamists.
Obama is an atheist with Islamic roots. He caters to the Islamists because they, like he, hates what America stands for.

The Shari’a Law proponents will decapitate the press first, then the rest of us infidels. Maybe the press likes to be first in line. How do you write a story when you have no head? Oh, wait, many in the press have been doing that for decades.
Soon, the America-haters will crawl back into their holes. But we must never forget they are still there, waiting to come back out and take our country down. It will be interesting to see what happens to the likes of Bill Mahrer and the MSM after November. It is time to quit playing Mr. Nice Guy with the progressive left in this country. We need to go after them and expose them with all the fury we are now devoting to going after the lib politicians.

Although the Marxist Obama always rushes to defend, excuse or placate Muslims, I also think, in his heart, anyway, that the man is an atheist. I can't envision Barack Obama getting down on his knees and worshiping anyone other than himself.

I agree regarding the two fronts we're fighting on - Marxism and Islam. I think the Marxist media see Muslims as (a) 'minorities' they can rally behind as 'underdogs' and 'victims', making the liberals feel morally superior and, (b) Islam is the enemy of individual freedom, making Islam the antithesis of the values America is based on. Because media leftists want to believe America is the main source of evil in the world, Islam a seems to be a perfect vehicle to help them 'bring down' our beloved country making Islam as well as the Marxists now running our government America's enemy. That is both ironic and tragic - but there it is.
Well, if they get their way in the end, it will not bode well for us who do not go along with those kinds of ideals. I am proud of the Conservative movement, though, as with the important issues, they will push but we are pushing back harder. I’ll push back until my last breath, and you can take that to the bank.

Good analogy...simply put, one is using the other in the quest to destroy America.
Don’t forget that Yaser Arafat was a creation of Moscow (specifically Yuri Andropov’s KGB), the Muslim Brotherhood was a funded cutout of the KGB, the “Arab League” was often used by Moscow to do the Soviet Union’s bidding, etc. If you track the origins of Hamas and Hezbollah back, you’ll find hard leftist parenting via the PLO and other cutouts. It’s really only al Qaeda that fully split from the Soviet origins of what we today call “Islamic terrorism.”
The great FR poster bray calls Islam “the militant arm of atheism.” Think about that because atheism is the core religious foundation of communism.
Follow the money. Rulers of Marxist and Islamist states live in high opulence while the citizens live dirt poor.

Going after them would breach the tenants of free speech. We should, instead, stop watching them on TV. Stop buying their books. Don’t click on their name anywhere you find it. It will not be as satisfying as watching them writhe in agony while the flames consume them, but it will, eventually, be as effective. So, when next the Wal-Mart greeter says, “Good morning. Welcome to Wal-Mart.” You can say, “Hey, weren’t you a newsreader for ABC?”
Fundamentally, the left is the enemy of the Gospel—has been since the seating arrangement in the French legislature gave them that name. It’s one of those “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” things.
Marxism is dead, but it is kept on life support by academics in universities and a few aging leftists. Communist Marxism is a thing of the past. The Left’s attraction to Islam stems from the fact that they are now relatively weak and powerless. They see militant Islam as vigorous and assertive. Plus, militant Islam is anti-Western and anti-capitalist. Therefore, to the Left, militant Islam is quite attractive.
How does this end? It should end with the public’s realization that the Left is bereft of workable ideas, and that they have put their leftist ideology ahead of American interests.

but the ideas still exist, only re branded.
By the way, I spent 2002-2009 in the former Communist counties of central Europe.
