Been looking for a LONG time now. Had a score of interviews - ten years ago I was batting better than .500, now nothing.

In the meantime I've tried construction, appraising etc. Even worked a while in a machine shop.

And I have an advanced degree.

Its getting pretty discouraging, and more so because the bureaucratic parasites in local & state government don't seem any closer to understanding how they are destroying the economy than they did 3 years ago.

Start your own business.

I got out of the military and a sports career and couldn’t find a decent job as an engineer (which I was) because I had not practicd as an engineer and was some time from school.

So I bought worn-out drilling rig and went to work for my neighbor, using some guys I knew from the gym as my co-roughnecks.

Nearly died a couple times, but now I’m well-off.
