“…Schools seem incapable of dealing with bullies…”

I disagree; schools want to be in charge of the bullying, just as Unions say they are for the rule of law yet are protected in their violence.

If the school did not take action on the first complaint, especially considering the child is disabled, the father was doing his duty…the school district or its agents were not!

Parents have relinquished ‘behavior modification” to the schools, Oprah, and DCF. This is what we get....

…Schools seem incapable of dealing with bullies…

Nothing has changed. When I was in junior high (then 7th, 8th, and 9th grade, the grade I was in), totally unprovoked, I was hit in the back of the head hard by a deliberately thrown softball (which are not soft). When I confronted the thrower I was immediately hit in the face. I could have, and perhaps should have, retaliated but I chose to tell the teacher (coach). He asked: "You weren't hurt were you?" And he did absolutely nothing about it.
