In my family, the duty was that of the next oldest brother(s).
It worked fine. Then, it was kids on kids.
I am with you on this. My youngest son at about age 9 had a problem with a neighborhood boy two years older than him sneaking up on him and whistling as loud as he could in my son’s ear. Once he told me, we both walked over to their home and I told his father what his son had been doing. It never happened again.
Actually, if the school board would remove the scum from the bus and make the epic fail parents then have to arrange transport for their little punks might have been a road to solution. Maybe ... of course, what this episode does more than anything else is expose the leftist school officials as worse than the scummy little punks. The media scum of course will ONLY focus public attention on the words and deeds of the father.
What’s the big deal? He didn’t touch any of them. He did make them think twice or three times before doing any bullying again, and I do believe the bullying was real. The one negative was that the innocent students (assuming some were) suffered the same treatment as the guilty.
Fear is a potent weapon.
To instill fear is in large part how we have a civil society ... of course in places it does not seem to be civil
FEAR is POTENT!
There is a lot of truth in cowboy philosophy as outlined by you. If it weren’t for the scarcity of women in the lives of cowboys, their world would have been pretty close to perfect. I try not to think about how they dealt with the near absence of women.
If that were my child that was taunted, I would have gone berzerk.
Not something you should do in front of witnesses and a videotape. In the good old days the bus driver would handle it. If he didnt, the school would have, if they didn’t the parents would have, if they didn’t the police. These days none of them will do a damn thing.
Schools seem incapable of dealing with bullies
I disagree; schools want to be in charge of the bullying, just as Unions say they are for the rule of law yet are protected in their violence.
If the school did not take action on the first complaint, especially considering the child is disabled, the father was doing his duty the school district or its agents were not!
YEAH, that’s what I’m talking about. Good for you.
He probably didn't ask permission to board the bus.
I’m with the father on this one. And of course the school did nothing. She has c.p., she is not a homosexual.
If any guy climbs aboard a school bus and rants that he is going to kill someone because someone is messing with his kid, he should be arrested. What about all the other kids that were not guilty of mistreating this daughter? How do you think it makes them feel to see this guy climb aboard, then hear this guy rant about killing others? I can imagine they feel terrorized.
This guy was completely wrong and he deserved to be arrested and punished.
Our bus drivers are supposedly trained NOT to allow parents up on the steps.
I agree. This is what happens when people feel powerless to act in the face of injustice (I.E. PC incompetence)
Definitely the case if the father suffers negative consequences and the bullies don't.
It’s time for a jury nullification.
Parents have relinquished ‘behavior modification” to the schools, Oprah, and DCF. This is what we get....
I did something similar when I lived in lansdowne PA years ago... The brother of a kid that was bullying my son (my son broke the bully’s nose) ran my son’s bicycle off off the road with his car. The local cop brought the perp to my house for identification and to see if we wanted to press charges. I told the kid (in front of the officer) that if he ever came near my son again, I’d just have him killed.
The cop just smiled...
If things occurred as they are written,I would say NOT GUILTY.
These little creeps had it coming as does the administration of the school she go’s too.
My advise is to sue the hell out of the school system.Things like this MUST stop.
