FLORIDA (KGO) -- A father boarded his 11-year old daughter's school bus in central Florida to confront her alleged bullies.

She has cerebral palsy, and James Jones says some kids on the bus had been taunting her, hitting her and had even thrown condoms at her. He brought her on board and asked her to point them out.

"Everybody sit down. Everybody sit down," Jones said on the surveillance tape. He then orders his 11-year-old daughter to point out her alleged tormenters. "Show me which one. Show me which one," he said.

"I'm gonna (expletive) you up -- this is my daughter, and I will kill the (expletive) who fought her," Jones said.

Same here. My mother would have killed me if I picked on a handicapped kid. However, if the father said something stupid as another poster suggested like, “If he doesn’t stop I’m going to take it out on you.” to my father, my father would have forgotten all about me, what I’d done, and responded instantly to the threat at hand. If the guy had said it to my mother, one of the adult males in the house probably would have beaten him to death. That just wasn’t done then.

Where is your line? (or do you even have one?)

With the youngest on the verge of 17, I guess I can say that I've raised 4 children to adulthood. In those 30 years or so, I never once had to threaten someone's child with bodily harm, or threaten a parent with harm over their children. Outside of making my intentions to defend myself known, I've never made a threat to anyone in my adult life. When you justify threats to INITIATE violence, you've crossed the line into thug life.

His only mistake was not yanking the wires on the surveillance video cameras before advising the bullies of his intentions..............

Wow, 155 posts, and finally someone (you) posts the correct way to handle the situation. Kudos and good on you.

No one has mentioned how severe her CP is. My best friend from childhood married a woman with CP. She’s intelligent, has a master’s degree, walks, talks, runs, etc. Outside of an unusual gait, a slight speech impediment and the need to carry straws to drink through in her purse, she’s perfectly normal.

Let me get this straight:

A parent stops by your house and explains that your child has been ridiculing their physically disabled child. This parent tells you that you are being asked to remedy the situation, and that they will do whatever is necessary to ensure that you do.

Your first reaction is to pull a gun?

Some people are just looking for a reason to use their ultra-tacticool penis replacement device.

Do us all a favor, though, stick to watching war movies and telling stories at the range, ok? We don’t need nuts like you on our side of the battle for 2nd Amendment rights.

That's not what you said. You come to my house to complain about my child, you have my ear. I was always prepared to keep my children in line. However, come to my house and start making threats, and it's no longer about my child. At that moment, it becomes about you and me. Now seeing how making threats of violence is a crime in my state, and how you're doing it while on my property, you're ass is sitting there until the cops show up. And yes, try to make good on your threat, and it's all over for you.

Your first reaction is to pull a gun?

The second you threaten me, my first and only reaction is to pull my pistol. You're damned skippy. If you think I'm going to smile sweetly and ask if you really really mean it first, you're insane. More importantly, I have the RIGHT to pull my pistol in response to a threat.

Your whole reply seems to be oblivious to the fact that you were talking about making threats of violence to the parents in question, not going over for a chat. Maybe you should take some responsibility for threatening violence in the first place, and not put the blame on the parent who answered the door to speak with you.

A True Story:

I got picked on pretty bad by a bunch of teenagers when I was about 9 years old. They did everything to taking a dirty tooth-brush rubbing it on the floor and brushing my teeth on it.

Recently I saw one of those bullies on “Extreme Make Over” where he went from an ugly guy to a not so bad looking guy.

Funny enough, about two months after appearing on that show, a horse kicked him in the face and knocked all his teeth out.

A teen picking on a 9yo... Now THAT is low.

And then the bully is on Extreme Makeover, and the show probably had a whole sob story about his struggles in life and how everyone is supposed to feel so sorry for him. I’ll bet you were laughing out loud at him as you watched the show. I know I would’ve been laughing. ;-)
