PRESIDENT OBAMA: "The presidents overall job approval rating is 45 percent, with 47 percent disapproving. On the economy, his rating is worse, with 41 percent approving and 51 percent disapproving."
GOVERNOR PALIN: "The poll found that the ...public has an increasingly negative opinion of Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee, with nearly half now holding an unfavorable view of her."
I realize that people can do funny things with words, but aren't these essentially the same numbers?
Also -- funny note -- the poll is, according to the description, a sample of "voters," but 1 in 9 are not registered. Funny way to describe a sample!

Standard NYT MO.
I wonder what Senor Slim plans to do with the building once the Slimes goes under.
A giant Taco Bell, of course.
That would be amuch better use of the space provided nanny Bloomberg allows it.
Obama 50/50
Half the country still approves of Obama
Palin 50/50
Half the country now disapproves of Palin.
Notice it says “NEARLY half” disapprove of Palin. That means more than half approve! Interesting way to word it.
Kid joke from the early 50’s.
An American and a Russian had a match race. The American won.
The headline the next day in Pravda [substitute NY Times] read, “Russian comes in second! American finishes next to last!”
