NEW YORK, September 16 (C-FAM) - Sixty nations will present a declaration to implement an international currency transaction tax during the UN Millennium Development Goal (MDG) summit that begins next week at United Nations headquarters in New York....

Global Tax Proposal:

“In addition to seeking to eradicate poverty, that declaration commits nations to banning “small arms and light weapons” and ratifying a series of treaties, including the International Criminal Court Treaty, the Kyoto Protocol (global warming treaty), the Convention on Biological Diversity, Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child.”

Global tax proponents have remarked that U.S. support is vital in order to make it happen.

If the US pulled all "donations" to the UN, it would be a different type of organization. We fund it and are largely responsible for the very few (objectionably speaking) successes anyone could dare cite of the UN. The UN, and most of the world, hates us. I think the UN should be moved to a US military base in Cuba. That way delgates can visit friends when they are in town.
