Jim DeMint blasts D.C. GOP

“They say she can’t win and that by supporting her, I’ve helped lose the seat for Republicans,” DeMint said. “Well, I’ve been in the majority with Republicans who didn’t have principles, and we embarrassed ourselves and lost credibility in front of the country. Frankly, I’m at a point where I’d rather lose fighting for the right cause than win fighting for the wrong cause.”… “National Republicans are not going to invest real money in this race and her primary opponent, Rep. Mike Castle, is refusing to endorse her,” DeMint wrote to supporters of his political action committee, the Senate Conservatives Fund. “The dirty little secret in Washington is that the establishment is quietly rooting for Christine to lose so they can continue to peddle their discredited line that conservatives cannot win.”… Republicans say DeMint is giving himself too much credit for O’Donnell’s victory, given that he only threw his support behind her 72 hours before voters went to the polls and after she surged from enthusiasm from tea party activists. “Anyone who writes down that he had a significant impact in that election is smoking crack,” one senior Republican aide said. Much more at the link above, including a reminder that DeMint

I saw Charles Krauthammer interviewed by Bill O’Reilly on his show this evening.

I agree with Charles Krauthammer when he said that Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin should spend a couple of weeks in Delaware helping Christine O'Donnell get elected.

It’s propably not the right time.

But after the elections, I hope Demint starts naming names.

None of the RINOs will come out in public. I wonder why.

At some point, Demint needs to start naming names.

Sen De Mint.
There is an old boys& girls club in the Senate. They are NOT REAL Repubs. Knowing the outrage out in fly over country, they barge right ahead and break faith with the American People. Do not be surprise between now and Jan. to see a full on assault leg. wise by the losers. They will jump sides every chance they get.

The new Sen. and House are going to have their work cut out for them. The damage being done by the Dums and Rinos is epic. My prayers for the fighters in the trenches.

Palin, in an interview on Fox Business Network, was asked whether the Massachusetts Republican was “on notice” for siding with Democrats on several key votes.

“Well, you know, take the consideration, though, that that’s Massachusetts,” Palin said. “Perhaps they’re not going to look for such a hard-core constitutional conservative there, and they’re going to put up with Scott Brown and some of the antics there.”

Amen to that, in stereo. I don't care who 'gets religion', or when, where, or why - it's time that someone outs these RINO snake oil peddlers very publicly. The GOP establishment needs an enema, stat.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

He was totally serious.

I will look for a transcript and post it when and if one becomes available.

I’m kind of tired hearing we need the Northeast...maybe for 2010 .. but not after 2012...NY,VT,RI,MA,ME,CONN,NJ,DEL,MD,CA,WA,OR,,24 senators..seems to me we could could get nine out of ten of the rest...

Even if everything about O’Donnell is true, I STILL think we’re getting a better deal than with either Castle or Coons.

BTW, I don’t even consider Castle to be a RINO, he’s just an out an out traitor to the party.

Let me tell you something GOPlady.

Your back stabbing RINO senators are too scared to come out in public with their comments about Demint. Got any idea why? I do.

Let me make a prediction. At some point, after the election, Demint will start naming names. And those RINO’s will be the next in line for 2012.

It’s a cesspool in the senate. It will get cleaned up one way or another.

You sir are just tempting fate... Of course they will help her and already she had over a million dollars in private donations. Were you part of that?

If not, get off of your high horse and understand that this is the voters decision, not the politicians.

It wasn't long ago a statement like that would set FR's lil old GOP ladies to wringing their hands.

I'm glad we're finally hearing it from the party's national figures.

'Bout time.

Old Charlie you should go to Delaware, to Florida, to Texas, to Colorado to Nevada to anywhere outside DC. Charlie get out in the real world, talk to people, understand our anger then you know why Christine will win.

Start ripping Obama for destroying America, for lying to us as to who he is, rip the Democrats for running from Obama, for Stupid Harry being Stupid, for Pelosi for being twice as stupid as Harry. Call them out you spineless coward. Defend people who care about their country, about people who want to leave the world a better place than when they came into.

Either get with us or join Tokyo Rove as a footnote in history and not a good one at that.
