It’s nearly time to renew the appointment of the CJCS, or appoint a new one. Maybe Bostick is trying to position himself for the job.

I posted something about this a month or so ago and I am being proved correct in my thinking.

People like this General will create an new class of protected people within the military. A new protected “minority” that includes women and minorities.

There will be panels and commissions created to ensure they are promoted at equal perceived percentages and those percentages will increase so the straight military members will be kept down.

The more heinous thing is these so called leaders will create the environment where the gays will rule the barracks and the working environment. If anybody disagrees with them or is seen as a promotion threat they gays will just cry foul and charge the straight person with a hate crime and that person will end up in a kangaroo court and get reamed. The gays will be able to make advances on anyone they want and if they are turned down they will do the same.

This will spell the end of our military and the superiority we have around the world that has kept us safe for over a century.

There are more high ranking officers in the military who will sell out our Country to maintain their prestige and power. I watched during the Clinton Administration as the great war fighters were swept out by lack of promotions while some of the worst officers imaginable were promoted. It was pathetic.

It looks like he’s in charge of personnel and recruiting, which is what scares me. This is like putting Al Sharpton as VP of HR in a corporation, in terms of ideology.

God help us, if any real war erupts while obama is president. There are numerous opportunities around the globe.

Three wars since 1991 in this general’s career and no combat awards or service? Not even an Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for being in theater?

Sounds like a pure affirmative action career now sucking up for a fourth star.

>>“If DADT is repealed, can Christians, or the Religious, in good conscience recommend to their adolescent children that they join the US Military”?

Considering the state of the country and the nature of more than half of it’s citizenry, how could a Christian recommend to their child to join the miitary now? All the parts worth defending are either dead or on life support. The Constitution is being used as toilet paper in the Capitol and WH. Far too many of the people are lazy, greedy, and selfish. We’ve enslaved ourselves to foreign interests. We let foreigners illegally enter the country to take jobs and break the taxpayers’ backs through welfare. We manufacture nothing, and most consider blue collar jobs to be beneath their dignity. Our so-called leaders are communists, and even the so-called “conservative” leaders are mostly socialist. Our President is either muslim, or an atheist muslim sympathizer.

There’s just nothing left to defend.

Well, all true, doesn’t that make this an excellent time to join the fight for Restoration of America?

As a Chesty Puller once said:

“... and his fifth Navy Cross for action during December 5–10 at the Battle of Chosin Reservoir. It was during that battle when he made the famous quote, “We’ve been looking for the enemy for some time now. We’ve finally found him. We’re surrounded. That simplifies things...”

The truly egregious examples I was aware of fortunately never happened when I was in that particular unit. The worst of them was not even involving homosexuals as such, but homosexual dominance rape.

I new member of the unit had been tied to a bed and the others were waiting in line to rape him. When the duty officer, a Warrant Officer, arrived at the scene, he could not believe his eyes until he saw one of the soldiers mount the other one, then one of them had the gall to invite him to participate. He arrested everybody.

That was one hell of a court martial. The instigator got five years, the typical, of the dozen or so, soldiers in line got 2-3 years each. The soldier on the bed got five years, for not resisting enough, I guess; and even the Warrant Officer got a year for waiting, instead of acting immediately. It was a hostile court, to say the least.

Far more typical happened to a unit I had just left, for which I am eternally grateful. A new private had been assigned, and his new friends took him bar hopping. He made friends with a local man, who invited him back to his apartment, where they did some things. But then the local man wanted the soldier to do some things he didn’t want to do, so he stabbed the man with a butcher knife repeatedly until very dead.

The police found the soldier’s name and address in the dead guy’s wallet. He gave the police and MPs permission to search his wall locker, where they found the bloody murder weapon wrapped in a towel.

Interestingly, he eventually got 5 years for sodomy, and 3 years for homicide. This made sense in context to the purpose of military law being to preserve good order and discipline.

And here I sit writing a letter of recommendation for my nephew who is applying to West Point.

“Ummm some guys might disagree with you when it comes to the Ranger tab! :)”

While I hold the U.S. Army Rangers in the highest regard, and readily acknowledge that the “tab” is not easy to get. It still isn’t an award for valor....it is another, on a higher order, Hooah! badge.

Besides, this general disgraces all that wear the tab to say such things. I remember how embarassing it was for the Army circa 2005 when many soldiers from the 82nd Airborne were caught posing for homosexual mags. For awhile the joke was to call the 82nd the “Brokeback” division. How could things go downhill so fast that what was shameful a few years ago is being promoted by a flag rank officer.

I guess this “general” is for having a new tab for “Rump Rangers.”

The next question they will ask in order to keep people out of the military will be “Are you a Christian?”

Well, if you believe sincerely that it is, by all means pen the endorsement, for myself it is a question that rightfully should be asked and each person draw their own conclusions based on Ethics and Morality.

For myself, I’m stunned that Americans would ever come to such a time as this Lions Den Dan.
