Delaware is in the Philly TV market I believe. Which is costly (Top 5 market).

I think Wilmington has some major TV stations as well...

To be fair, the reports about the NRSC not supporting her came from some unnamed sources

as is anyone who donates directly to the RNC at this point.

If nothing else, because of practicality. Organizations like the RNC, DNC, etc., are really not even necessary these days anyway.. why send them money when it's so easy to bypass them and donate directly to the candidates? I haven't cut a check to a political organization in years.

It’s at 105% now. That’s $50K in the last hour or 2.

The first installment of this money bomb was set at $50K.
On Tuesday, the O’Donnell campaign seemed excited to be approaching $50K.

I think they should leave the chart at 1 million for a while, no idea what a “while” means. I think that people like to see a chart they can figure out the totals on. 1 million is good for that. If they see 123%, they’ll know that it’s 1.23 million. And reporters can look at that number and report it without doing any math that’s at all hard. And then, when they want to raise the number, raise it to something big.

Has anyone tried going to where the D’s hang out and saying Beat Karl Rove, donate Christine?

Rasmussen has her behind by double digits right now. You will never elect a conservative in a state where the voters demand hand outs and big government.

I think she does need a better answer, and Karl Rove should “approve” it. But your point is definitely valid.

Well, she just lost a $35 donation from me due to this: Employer can’t be blank. Occupation can’t be blank. Phone Number must be a valid phone number, including area code (example: 555-555-1234) My employer and occupation are none of her business. Neither is my cell phone number (I don’t have a land line). Guess she doesn’t need the money that bad.

She doesn't need your contribution enough to violate campaign finance laws. Whether the laws are reasonable is a different question, but if you check Castle's reports Summary here you'll see that he has the same information. These reports help to track down companies in which the CEO might give each worker money to donate as a way of working around contribution limits, and they help the FEC to contact some donors to verify that the listed donation was from their own money. BTW, I gave and answered all those questions.

Too bad Angle can’t get that. Harry is running on a fear campaign and is using scary ads directed at the ignorant, the elderly and disabled. And they are spendy ads.

He is such a $h!t!

Castle’s people SUED the tea party.
That’s why tea party people would’ve sat out.

Christine only pointed out that Castle’s record was liberal.
Castles supporters should be on board.

Harry Reid on Christine O'Donnell:

“...as a white candidate, she could be successful thanks, in part, to her “light-skinned” appearance and speaking patterns “with no Cracker dialect, unless she wanted to have one.””

Cable not broadcast.

You can buy cable and hit only Delaware.

I haven’t read any detailed article about the economics of cable tv ads, the economics of broadcast tv ads, the effectiveness, whatever.

It might be more expensive per cpm to hit your targets, but I don’t know.

Dude, she has no choice. That's mandatory information by FEC rules. It prevents restricted classes from contributing, and helps track down contribution fraud.

He wasn't talking as an analyst.

Nothing he said was objective.

He was angry because Castle lost.

He was throwing out every accusation against her he could think off!

He mentioned he received emails where people told him how "irritated" people were with him and how they'd just donated to O'Donnell.

I was one of them. This morning there was a reply in my inbox. The same old pap about her ethics problems. Then he goes on Fox to try to backpeddle. I sent him an email reply and told him he's a duplicitous has-been and we no longer needed his dumb advice.

In fairness to the RNC, they did come out in support for her.

He’s not the devil incarnate for thinking that and he is paid for his opinions after all...

There's also something known as being a team player. He purports to be a Republican; Yet, when a Republican was nominated, he tore into her. How about talking about her opponent? He surely has opinions about HIM, doesn't he? Opinions that would HELP the cause he alleges to be on?

No, something deeper was going on.

Obama’s approval in this particular poll is +11%.
Coons is up +11%

The PPP poll that came out Monday had Obama at -2%.

At this point, Christine is holding on to the Obama disapproval vote. Coons is holding on to the Obama approval vote.

Most of the things that Obama wants or has done (Obamacare, etc) are unpopular.

Christine can use TV ads to tie Obama and Coons to the terrible policies that the people hate. That’ll drive down Obama a bit and Coons a bit.

But, if Obama all a sudden gets numbers like 60% favorable, Christine will have a much tougher race. I don’t think Obama is going to get 60% favorable in DE.
