(Lake Worth, FL) On Tuesday September 7, 2010 at around 11:00am one Palm Beach State College (PBSC) student and two Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) members, state chairman Daniel P. Diaz and state vice chairman Eddie Shaffer, were shut down and had campus police called on them after tabling and recruiting during club rush at the College. The PBSC student, Christina Beattie, had received prior permission from college administrator Olivia Ford-Morris to promote her organization on campus via telephone and email communication.
On the day of club rush, officials approached the group and after seeing information about the organization and its ideals criticizing Barack Obamas economic policy. Ms. Ford-Morris was visibly disturbed by the material presented, published by the Heritage Foundation, criticizing President Obamas administration. College officials then called the campus police to assure the group left campus. Ms. Ford-Morris denied having ever talked to Ms. Beattie about giving permission to the organization to be a part of PBSC club rush.
I was shocked and offended by her dishonesty. She outright denied giving me permission to table at Club Rush simply because she disagreed with my beliefs! The fact is, she was using her administrative power to silence the conservative opposition. said Christina Beattie.

Great poster - it should run on every thread dealing with dems.
But it wouldn't FIT in the janitor's closet!
Yeah, the double standard when dealing with liberals hit me in the face afresh today when I heard they want to retool the definition of the poverty figure (so we can’t tell it’s worse under Obama than Bush). They don’t want to get rid of it, because they need it to substantiate their lies and to justify new power grabs, but they need to change the definition every time they get or lose the mantle, or you could use it to see whose ideas work better. Can’t have that. [spit]
Ms. Dashwood resents that!
And NONE of her campus!
Thanks justiceseeker93.
Good lord...it’s chocolate Elsie
That is the epitome of an excellent post, the sort of thing high among the reasons I stick around at Free Republic. Thank you, sir!
A few pings for general interest and ping list consideration.
How is it an institution actively suppressing the First Amendment rights of its students, can still be the recipient of Federal Funds? This action is a tremendous civil rights violation of those students.

Proud subversive signing in! :-)
Send your kid to college; fill his head with mush!

Maybe we need a secret handshake. ;-)
Just saw this on Red Eye. This witch is on a major Marxist O’Bambi power trip and intoxicated about being able to unfairly throw out these conservative kids. Of course, looking at the crowd in the background, they would not have had a lot of recruiting success.
I am SO glad they have video of her imperious attitude, complete with her f’ing walkie-talkie. Reminds me of the Hannah and James ACORN videos! I hope they sue. Of course I’m assuming there’s no way this witch will ever be fired, but she should be.
Oh, I meant to say, I hope Rush, Beck, Hannity, Drudge, etc. all pick this up. What a jerk.
Freedom of Speech For All (death to whomever disagrees with me).
Good work! I figured this was the case....going by this goofball’s hyphenated last names
In the tradition of 0bama the AA empty suit-—
Another unqualified affirmative action pantload....treading water and lying her fat azzzzzz off. Truth is irrelevant to these .edu critters. Word gets around on campus how the YAF club was singled out for this such treatment and will help the YAF. Meanwhile sue her
To be fair to this nincompoop of color there are just as many white commie .edu administrators who would try and do the same
