Yeah, I have a theory about that. By my observation there is a certain percentage of the population, about 10%, who are just lazy and refuse to take advantage of the opportunities available to them. Life is a series of choices and the choices you make reflect who you are. Similarly, there is a certain percentage of the population that will be criminals, also about 10%. I'd put the politicians in that percentile, too. In addition, there is a certain percentage of the population that will succeed because they make good life choices and a certain percentage of the population who, through no fault of their own, simply cannot do for themselves. The ones that are left could go either way. Their destiny depends on the guidance they receive as children and the freedom and liberty they have as adults, as well as their own choices and efforts. It's a phenomenon as old as humanity itself.
