Christine O’Donnell, the tea-party backed GOP nominee for Joe Biden’s Senate seat, on Wednesday morning attacked “Republican cannibalism” and said she doesn’t need the GOP establishment to win her Delaware race in November.

“They never thought that I could win this race, and I believe that we can win without them,” O’Donnell told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning America.”

****************************EXCERPT*****************************

O’Donnell decried “Republican cannibalism” after Stephanopoulos played a clip of Karl Rove criticizing her on Fox News’ “Hannity” after her victory Tuesday night.

You know guys, she may be playing to a script agreed to by both the RNC and her Campaign Staff. Running as the outsider to the RNC may be the perfect antidote to winning as a Republican in a heavy Dem State. Has anyone considered this possibility? Karl Rove is at heart happy that Republicans win. He may be acting out his pre-arranged role.

One indicator is that she’s had to increase her fundraising goal all day today.
As of this posting, her website says she’s met 101% of her last goal of $500,000.

And the NRSC gave her $42,000.

I think you’re giving the Republicans too much credit. There is a reason why they’re called the stupid party. I think they are just jumping on the winner’s bandwagon.

Well after the interview last night I did say that Karl Rove could eat me. And that the National Republican Senate Committee could get bit. Does that count as supporting cannibalism?

The simplest explanation is always the correct one.
Your conspiracy theory is the wishful thinking of Party that missed the bus.

Over the next few weeks I suspect Real Clear Politics will be carrying any polling data that is put forward.

No, the elitists will NOT cede power to any “outsider” - it’s just not in them. It is anathema to them.

Yes and no. Karl Rove knows elections. He probably realized that O”Donnel’s only hope is as the underdog to even the Republican establishment. This makes her okay for Dems to vote for. Its a thought. Will see.

OK so we already have Silly Party, and There is no Cannibalism in the Royal Navy. Can we just admit that the GOP playbook is just a collection of old Monty Python bits.

Until now the choice was:
You can vote for a Liberal calling himself a Democrat or
You can vote for a Liberal calling himself a Republican.

The Tea Party is real Change I can believe in!
