1.) My opponent claims that I owe money to the IRS. The IRS says the erroneous tax bill was a "computer error."
During my previous campaign against then Sen. Joe Biden I was audited by the IRS - so were some of my family members and a campaign worker. (Let's just chalk that up to a coincidence). During a long appeals process, this was supposed to have been wrapped up this past spring. Yet, in March, rather than a letter finalizing the appeals process, I received an erroneous tax lien claiming I had not responded to their previous correspondence.
The IRS admitted the letter was a mistake, issued a Certificate of Release of Federal Tax Lien on May 19, 2010 and chalked it up to a "computer error." The remaining balance was paid in full on may 16, 2010. Please find below a copy of the letter from the appeals office assigned to my case. You will notice that it is dated just weeks before the erroneous lien and clearly demonstrates that I had been cooperating with the IRS and heading towards resolution.
2.) My home was sold in 2008. My opponent claims that I lost it in foreclosure.
Please find below the letter from CitiMortgage proving my home was privately sold in 2008 through a realtor and private mortgage company, not a public foreclosure. ...
3.) My opponent is trying to start a rumor that I am not a Delaware resident. This is simply not true.

where did the website go?
Oh I think it makes him look alot worse than that would you not agree? If this is a ploy by him he deserves an academy award but I doubt it.He has got to know she can refute all the allegations against her. They have been proven false yet he keeps on about it.Hmmm
Apparently Karl doesn't read much anymore. This explanation was dated Sep 3rd. Too bad Karl didn't have the time in the past 2 weeks to research what the heck he is talking about.
I anxiously await Roves next move..... a Jimmy Swaggart moment?
One can hope...
Ms. O’Donnell should talk to Palin/DeMint for some time and get some advice on strickly sticking to issues. Money issues, economy issues, and jobs creaction issues. Also crash course education on national security/defense.
Specifics. The way Gov. Chris Christie can rattle off all kinds of statistics is very impressive in his townhall meetings facing off teachers and constituents.
Once these documents had been produced and availabe for all to see, she should drop the defensive on her personal background. “This is not about me, this is about how best to represent the people of Delaware.” etc. etc.
And start differentiate herself from the Dem opponent. On the most important issues that face the nation and American families.
When I first started FR I used to blast Dem Senators with letters at least once a week...
...until I was audited by the IRS.
I remember at the time I was only making 50K a year.
Imagine that.
Maybe Bush was actually Roves Brain.
Disgusting, and all it took was a phone call.
Sent my donation to her earlier...we all should chip in.
I say it’s a shame that the sitting president is not as forth-coming with his personal documents.
Oh My God! Karl Rove is Teh Ghey????!?
3.) My opponent is trying to start a rumor that I am not a Delaware resident. This is simply not true.Mike Castle is a Birther!
Since when do Machines have gender idenity?
When you go to the link at the top, you find that this is originally dated September 3, 2010.
But it’s the first time we’re seeing it, so thanks for posting it. The MSM certainly wouldn’t have told us about it.
YES!
The audit might be done by IRS, or the audit could happen as part of a university audit of eligibility for Pell Grant funds. Well over half of these recipients were audited every year ~ taking up more than 30% of total IRS audit resources.
The other trillions of dollars in federal tax payments were subject to cursory evaluation.
You were just unlucky!
Now we will watch to see how the NRSC responds, beyond that measly $42,000 they have given Christine. If the GOP would just figure out that it would be better to get behind her, and all others who won victories over the RHINOS, we will really clear the Congressional swamp in November. If they do not, then it is obvious they don't care about the people or the country...only the game they have all been playing at our expense for so many years.
I am glad Christine held these documents for after the vote...now more people will listen when they are shown, and be aware of the dirty tricks that were played. Nice move, Christine.
