Panicked GOP Leaders Have Lost Control of the Party
ConservativeHQ.com ^ | September 15, 2010 | Richard Viguerie

GOP leaders -- Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, John Boehner, Karl Rove and others -- as well as establishment Republicans have no idea how livid Americans are with them.

Republican leaders are in a panic because they have lost control of the Republican Party.

Grassroots constitutional conservatives are inside the Citadel, and are poised to take over.

All across the country -- in the Northeast, the South, the West -- Americans feel betrayed by Republican politicians. Last night’s election results show that the grassroots anger is directed at more than just the Obama-Reid-Pelosi Democrats.

Christine O’Donnell’s inspiring upset in Delaware, Ovide Lamontagne’s populist and improbable surge in New Hampshire, Carl Paladino’s trouncing of Rick Lazio in New York -- and previous primary wins by Sharron Angle, Ken Buck, Joe Miller, etc. -- all have been the result of the grassroots uprising against big government and the ‘ruling class,’ and in spite of the GOP establishment.

Never before in American history has a movement made such momentous change in such a short period of time.

As Reagan said in 1976, Americans want new leaders unfettered by old ties and old relationships.

The symbolically stupid decision last night by the National Republican Senatorial Committee not to fund Christine O’Donnell’s general election campaign, which it reversed this morning only after a massive grassroots uproar, and Karl Rove’s meltdown on Fox’s Hannity show will only fuel further primary challenges to GOP political leaders.

Current GOP leaders not ‘retired’ in 2010, will be in 2012 and 2014, and can join their former colleagues, such as Trent Lott, on the K Street lobbying circuit. And, they should get used to saying, ‘Majority Leader DeMint.’

“Go form your own RINO party, RINOs.

The GOP belongs to the Tea Party now.”

Absolutely.

The Government class has begun to fear us once again. Exactly what we need to end ALL of the soft tyranny they have subjected us to. And we WILL have ALL of it gone.

The RINOs try to suck up to the DEMS but don’t understand that the DEMS could give a sh*t less for them.

Didn’t Bush say, shortly after Obama was elected, that there “is no conservative movement”?

“>Majority Leader DeMint<

That has a nice ring to it...”

Yes, it does. The Dims may not be the only ones shedding tears on election night. Mitch McConnell may want to have plenty of Rolaids on hand.

The DemocRAT Party is now the party of perverts, deviants, freeloaders Marxists and Communists (Yeah, I know. Redundant). Americans are going to take their government and country back. They had to start by taking the GOP back. The days of political corruption are coming to an end. November is just the beginning. Americans will be just getting warmed up in November. After November is when the fit starts to his the shan.

>>That “saying” goes back to the Crusades and the battle for Jerusalem........<<

I wasn’t around back then; and besides, the Marine Corps wasn’t either. So I’m not so sure you are correct.

In my head I can hear the music from the movie Patton. I hear Patton saying “We are going to grab them by the nose and kick them in the ass and we won’t let go and we will keep on kicking them in the ass!” After we do this to the RINOS we will go after the the Democrats.

They didn’t lose the GOP, they are giving it away by not listening to the people. The people are taking it away from them. I don’t think they realize how much power they could have if they listened to the people. Democrats are learning this real fast. The problem with the Democrats is that their power structure won’t allow them to listen to the people. Republicans still have a chance if they just pay attention to the will of the people. If they gain the House and Senate, cut the government down to what it was meant to be.

After that, they need to tell the Middle East that they must stand up for themselves. We are not staying and we will not keep supplying our kids for their fodder.

If the Republicans did one thing while in office, stripping some of the powers from the Speaker of the House and Senate Majority leader would go a long way to curing many of the problems we have seen in DC.

I only listened a short time. He was saying a Rep majority in the Senate is no big deal. Pretty much party heresy.

Some say it was the battle of Catholics against the Cathars, a sect that disagreed with the Pope. In either instance, it’s been around a long time, and has been used by military men ever since.........

I’m beginning to wonder if those “no third party” folks here on the FR were all paid for trolls

No just following the Limbaugh rule. In the primary vote for the most conservative candidate. In the general vote for anything with an (R) after the name. Our goal is not to destroy the GOP. Just to take it over.
