When the meter-man shoved the camera back into the citizen’s face, he committed assault. The driver’s options are to get out of the car and kick this guy’s ass, let it go, or obtain legal representation.

Frankly, I’m glad he went the legal representation route.

I don’t like the litigation at the drop of a hat aspects of this, but I’m damned tired of having city workers act as if they own the world and you’re dirt under their feet too.

I agree....In addition, why is the city not paying their parking enforcement people? Volunteers? What's up with that?

Why would *anyone* volunteer to do that? You'd have to have a screw loose.....
