He wants whatever will reduce the effectiveness of Palin and the Tea Party Express. Then the establishment Republicans can install their nominee of choice, one who will do nothing to diminish the power of the federal government, a nominee that Rove plans to guide to the Oval Office.

I don’t want Romney to be the Republican nominee for president, but he’s doing the right (if obvious) thing for the party, and it is a positive development. As Romney is more associated with the liberal northeastern establishment Republican party, it seems likely that his endorsement would be helpful in bringing a few reluctant voters over from RINO Castle to O’Donnell, so I don’t think he should be trashed for doing this.
