The air war is under way.
Republican congressional candidate Kristi Noem aired her first general election TV ad Tuesday while Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin, D-S.D., aired her fourth of the campaign.
Noem targets what she terms out-of-control spending in Washington, D.C., in the 30-second spot that features images of the candidate as well as South Dakota icons such as a buffalo and Mount Rushmore. The government is here to serve the people, not the other way around, Noem says in the ad.
Spending is an issue that plays well in the state, Noem said.No matter where I travel in our state, the number one issue on peoples minds is the wasteful spending coming out of Washington, D.C, she said in a press release. Politicians in Washington have given us a $787 billion failed stimulus and a job-killing, trillion-dollar health-care bill, all put on our nations credit card for our children and grandchildren to pay it back.

Warning, Warning, Warning

In the latest Rasmussen poll, South Dakota Democrat Stephanie Herseth Sandlin, after trailing her GOP opponent Kristi Noem all summer, suddenly shot to a two-point lead.
Today at the Mitchell Daily Republic Debate in the Corn Palace, Kristi Noem refused to explain her support for privatizing Medicare and rationing care for seniors.
In May before the June primary, Noem said in a live chat with the Rapid City Journal that the Roadmap budget proposal authored by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) was the right direction for our country to go.
The Ryan Budget is widely recognized for its revival of proposals to privatize Medicare and Social Security.
refused to explain her support
What does that mean exactly?
Republicans who support Rep Paul Ryans Roadmap need to do a better job of explaining its benefits.
And explaining the cost of the status quo, which is P.I.G.S. R U.S.
Were headed toward Greeces economy unless we adopt entitlement reform.
According to Senator Judd Gregg, this excessive spending is being done intentionally so that well be forced to adopt a value-added tax (VAT).

Why is NR getting their "news" from Stephanie Herseth Sandlin's website?
Good question.
That is one confusing post, rosettasister. Huh???
Republican congressional candidate Kristi Noem aired her first general election TV ad Tuesday while Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin, D-S.D., aired her fourth of the campaign.
This is exactly what her campaign staff is concerned about. Herseth Sandlin has a war chest, so, if you can, please, help us support Kristi for congress. Help us to end the reign of those supporting Nancy Pelosi.

SHS is well funded by liberal groups like Emily's list but is touting she voted against Obamcare and the stimulus and even says how she is concerned about the folks who live in fly over country. However as bad as she portrays Obamacare is for South Dakotans she will not vote to repeal it or even gut the 3.8% tax on unearned income that will devastate farms and ranches as well as home sales. I think the people of South Dakota will recognize her as the phony she is. I hope Sarah Palin comes to South Dakota to stump for Noem.
LOL!
Apparently Noem has some bad driving records in her background, and its hurting her in SD. She’s behind and may very well lose. That would be a tough loss in an easy pickup race.

Dr Niall Ferguson, CFA, and PhD at Harvard recently wrote a columni in the Financial Times
Niall Ferguson wanted to use the title Pigs R Us for one of his recent columns in the Financial Times, but he said that his editor wouldn’t agree to it.
He ended up titling it A Greek Crisis Coming to America.
Herseth Sandlin has criticized Noem for supporting Rep Paul Ryan’s “Roadmap” which is his plan to reform entitlements in order to avert a Greek crisis coming to the U.S.
Recently Senator Judd Gregg told Larry Kudlow that Obama and Dems are spending us into oblivion because what they really want is a VAT here in the U.S.
Sorry, this is how my mind works, when it works at all!
