Add Karl Rove to the loser list. He’s history.
I have been a loyal GOPer my whole life. That ended last night watching the RNC drones trash talk their own nominee.
Byron York and the National Review “establishment” have been out of touch with conservative America since they took over from Buckley a decade ago.
They are dinosaurs who want to be liked in DC and invited to the parties, and “respected” by the rest of the Beltway political media members.
Christine must be doing something right to threaten those worthless s.o.b.'s so viscerally.
Stupidity should be painful; I mean it should be difficult to breathe and be so incapacitating that walking is impossible.
The RNC is partially responsible for the mess we face; they backed RINO’s (traitorous cowards that they are) and the LOST!! Now, instead of picking the pieces up, perhaps learning a lesson from this mess and moving forwards
This group of low IQ slackers are refusing to back the candidtates that the Republicsn voters of their state selected.
Throw the bums out, let them get a REAL job.
NEVER trash your own parties canadate BEFORE an election. It gives the opposition all the talking points they need. The belt way Republicans know that. They're doing it on purpose.
Republicans had better realize that we the people are not going to take lukewarm conservatives anymore. Rinos are just as vunerable as the liberals. No more money to the rnc until they come to their senses. As to the media, let them eat crow.
The message for Republican leadership is that Americans are tired of being forced to vote for the “lesser of two evils.” Third party candidates are not viable and I’m tired of hearing that a vote for a third party candidate is like a vote for the Democrat. If you want us to vote Republican, then give us a candidate we believe in and can support. Period.
We the People are starting to take responsibility for vetting candidates directly. Wait til all of DC figures out that with modern communications and alternative media...theres no need for power brokers or lobbyists.
It will really just start to get ugly then...
Email from DeMint-—
Last night, conservative Christine O’Donnell won the Republican primary for U.S. Senate in Delaware. This is a major upset and I wanted to thank each of you who stepped up to help her in the final days of this campaign.
As you know, Christine believes deeply in balanced budgets, constitutional limits, and individual liberty. These are the principles of freedom that are the backbone of our great country, and we desperately need to restore them by electing new leaders to the Senate like Christine.
We have won a great victory in Delaware but the fight has just begun.
You see, the establishment in Washington is so upset by Christine’s victory, they are throwing one of the biggest political temper tantrums we’ve seen in a very long time.
Everywhere you turn, some know-it-all Beltway insider is throwing in the towel, saying they won’t do anything to help Christine defeat the Democrat in November. These phony Republicans apparently prefer to elect a liberal Democrat to fill the seat over a principled conservative.
In fact, media reports indicate that national Republicans have decided not to invest money to help Christine win in November. They believe that because she is conservative, she cannot win the general election. This is not true. Americans living in Delaware love their country and they’re not stupid. They know our nation is teetering on bankruptcy and economic disaster. Now they have a clear choice between a Democrat who will continue the the failed Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda and Christine O’Donnell who will help us save our country.
This is very disappointing but it’s not all that surprising. The establishment said Pat Toomey was too conservative when we backed him over Arlen Specter. They were wrong. Toomey now leads in the polls. They said the same thing about Marco Rubio, Ken Buck, Rand Paul, Sharron Angle, and Joe Miller. Yet they were wrong about them too. They are all positioned for victory in November.
If there is one thing we have learned this year, it’s that we cannot count on the leadership in Washington to elect the kind of leaders our nation needs. We’re going to have to engage the process and do it ourselves.
I understand the GOP establishment is trying to backtrack this morning. They have made a huge mistake. This has been very instructive......the Progressives are systematically outing themselves and being exposed for who they really are.
Support Jim DeMints Senate Conservatives Fund and the individual candidates.
Below is the verbatim text of a email I received from Karl Rove after I unloaded on him last night in an email subsequent to his Hannity appearance. I included my professional contact information just to assure him that my message was not from a lunatic. The key point is that while Christine is flawed, the tipping point is close. Karl has said his piece...but this revolution wont necessarily be won exclusively and entirely by folks meeting his government standards of purity. Obamas thuggery would roll over a Castle. What will you do, brother Karl, if Christine wins? Huh? Anyway, the email:
QUOTE:
If we attack President Obama for putting people who cant pay their taxes into his Administration, how can we defend a Republican candidate who doesnt pay her taxes, her college bills, or her mortgage; has had no visible means of support; and sued a reputable conservative organization claiming she was the victim of sex discrimination? She didnt win the lawsuit: her employer said she was fired for trying to run her own pr consulting firm out of their offices while on their clock. We conservatives want conservative candidates, but we do our cause little good by nominating people with serious questions about their fitness and character.
As to your offer of a lecture from you about mistakes you think I made during my White House years, Im busy raising $50 million to elect Republicans like Rubio, Toomey, Portman, Blunt, Buck and Angle, so youll excuse me if take a pass on dialing you up. Ive got a few more productive calls Id like to make.
END
MY EMAIL:
Karl,
You are wrong. Fundamentally.
Christine in DE is a flawed candidate. True. But she is so far ahead of Castle in terms of adherence to conservative principles, that the choice was no contest. Lower the probability statistic assigned to victory, but multiply the importance of victory by several orders of magnitude.
I am dismayed by your regurgitation of inside-the-beltway talking points.
Just so you know: I am a not the usual rabble rouser. Well-trained, multilingual, globally experienced.
Obama is a menace to Americas survival. RINOs wont cut it. Get on board or get out.
I would be happy to speak with you about the mistakes you made advising Bush relative to immigration and other more currently pressing issues. A course correction on your part could help our republic.
My contact information follows.
END
I only hope that the Republican cowards who run from the Democrat "mainstream" newrooms like scared bunny rabbits get this message loud and clear.
