In the good old days you were sewn up in your hammock with two good sized round shot at your feet. Arrgghh.

With the last stitch through your nose, just to be sure.

My SERIOUS Wishes in my Will is Cremation. My ashes to be placed in a weighted wooden boat 12 miles due East of Miami(Birth PLace,1935) and set afire as a Viking send off!

Dead serious! Not that it matters a damn.

No, it doesn't. I don't see why stainless has to be used. It would be far cheaper to cremate the body & toss the ashes out to sea. Less problems also. I wouldn't want some diver coming across my loved one’s casket & maybe messing with it.

I played football for more years than was prudent (the real thing - semi-pro). After the league went under we went to the next best thing, 11 on 11, immediate rush, no equipment two hand slam. Played that til I was fifty plus, that’s long gone too. I was one of the younger guys in the original crew and quite a few have passed on. It has become habit that we get together once a year with the families (lots of grandkids). More than a few of the recently departed had requested that their ashes be spread on the field where we played for decades. We do so and then play a multi-generational game (those of us who still run).

I'm not against reasonable regulations for disposing of bodies. I don't really want to trip across them while hiking in the Nat. Forest or snag one fishing in the lake.

But the government would require you to build a $40k concrete vault under your veggie garden and my suspicious nature says to me that the funeral industry would have had some input on that.

Pandy! I just can't believe the things you worry about sometimes. LOL

How about sealing the deceased and a big Lucite cube and sending them to Davy Jones' locker in that? Then they could look at the fishies and the fishies could look at them for eternity. ;^)

Reminds me of the movie The Big Lebowski when John Goodman or Jeff Bridges went to dump his buddies ashes in the ocean and the ashes all blew back in their face from the wind...pretty funny stuff....

I’ve never seen that picture before. Who are the other Asians in that photo?

We'll hire bored house wives to go diving with squeegees and keep them clean.
Call it a Green Job.
