At least according to this guy, Rove secretly called a meeting with the Delaware Tea Party to try and talk them into supporting the Party or in this case Castle.
Dan Riehl believes that Fox should suspend Rove:
Fox Should Suspend Rove And Investigate, Cornyn Must Resign:
Especially given his comments on Fox News tonight, until this is resolved, it seems impossible to trust Rove as an objective analyst. In terms of the conservative movement, we should not simply ignore him, but proactively work to undermine Rove in whatever ways we can, given his obvious willingness to undermine us.
...”Shameful. Fox News Should Fire Rove”...
I have always felt uncomfortable about him..He just did not seem genuine to me..Now we have the truth and that is what we need.
If Rove has been secretly working for a particular candidate he should have revealed that to the Fox audience.
I heard some of Rush yesterday and he was definitely at his best and impressive in building the case to dump Castle and the NRC! Evidently Rush has thrown Rove under the bus?
I think what put ODonnell over the top in todays Delaware election, is the 3 hours of scathing indictment of her opponent, Castle, by Rush Limbaugh. Anyone listening in Delaware to Rushs program, while at work or elsewhere, when they went to vote after work or in the afternoon, they had a much clearer picture of how they might want to vote. Go Rush. I truly believe you pushed ODonnell over the top in this election. Thank you.

You are probably correct. Expect “bipartisan support” mutterings about the “fairness” doctrine. The ruling class really is about to get kicked in the Bastille if they do not back it down.
Think Sean was getting a little miffed with him also.

If so, it boosts my opinion of Hannity. He always seems too cozy with the establishment types: Rove, Romney, Steele et al.
Perhaps this is just due to courtesy rather than deference.
I agree. Rove needs to be put on the sidelines.
Nope. Same person; true colors.
I heard someone on Joe Scarborough’s show that Castle said she didn’t know how the inside of Washington works..........LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT’s THE Connection?
I’ve taken the liberty to copy a bunch ot “TO” names on this thread for something that started percolating in my brain at the beginning of my morn exercise session to well up to volcano eruption after the daily morning hour of movement.
Charles Krauthammer. Karl Rove. Fred Barnes. The Weekly Standard. The Wall Street Journal.
Above just a few of the so-called conservative pundits who came out viciously against Christine O’Donnell.
For some long we’ve been scratching our heads. For while we all knew O’Donnell was a flawed candidate, their attacks on her were vicious, visceral, way beyond some poor schlub who couldn’t pay her tuition.
I trust that last night you all heard Karl Rove and this is why I wanted to ping you all early this day that you all be prepared to tune into Rush today.
Cause something sinister this way comes.
Karl Rove went into absolute meltdown last night on Sean Hannity’s show, this just minutes after Christine O’Donnell’s victory was announced. My jaw dropped to the floor for this was not only extremely ungracious for a normally mild-mannered Republican, it was beyond any kind of justification.
Now maybe Rove had some righteous anger that a candidate who, allegedly, called Mike Castle a homosexual....maybe all his rants had some kind of basis in fact...folks the woman did NOT kill her mother. In other words O’Donnell’s “baggage” did not have to be so viciously aired the night of her victory, dear Lord it could have waited a day, you think?
Karl Rove’s total meltdown was not one of a concerned Conservative citizen trying to urge our irrational selves to avoid voting for a dangerous felon. No. The election was over. It wasn’t like his horribly cruel words served any purpose EXCEPT...you think maybe he was mad?
And why was he so mad?
Krauthammer. Barnes. The Weekly Standard. The Wall Street Journal. Powerline. Redstate...making a complete U turn.
What do they all have in common?
They are all conservative PUBLISHERS!!!!
I think somehow, some way, Mike Castle had these people on the ropes.
Delaware is the capital of the corporate world. Castle is, allegedly, a Republican. Krauthammer writes books. Rove writes books. The Weekly Standard promotes a cavalcade of conservative scribes.
I dunno, maybe Castle got these corps. special tax exemption, maybe he was a gateway to Republican info in congress...I dunno.
But they are all people/companies/websites that depend on getting out a conservative message and as always is wise...FOLLOW THE MONEY!
These people tolerate the Tea Parties when it benefits them.
If ever there was a clue to what’s behind all this....they’ve all got some tether to Mike Castle.
For their vitriol against this poor woman who once sued one of their think tanks is way beyond the rational.
Karl Rove lost it last night. He has been a guest pundit on Rush Limbaugh’s show.
I don’t know if Rush will cover this matter today, but he sure oughta. In fact, I’m hoping that Rush vows never to have Rove on his show again.
If we are to have any power, we must use our sword of numbers. We must, like the Dixie Chicks, turn away from these people who so betrayed us.
Because that whole thing was betrayal and nothing less.
Tune in to Rush today, maybe drop him an email. Ask that he take Rove to task for his totally unwarranted, small and inappropriate attack of a victorous Conservative candidate at such an inopportune time.
Whatever you do, never by a book by Rove again and if Rush does bring the man on his show as guest host....watch a taped movie or something.
The power of our numbers, it’s all we have.
You forgot McCain and Graham. If McCain made a sharp turn Sean Vannity would end up with a broken nose.
Saw Rove last night in total meltdown. Disgraceful. He hurt himself a LOT more than he hurt Christine. Hannity deserves credit for standing up to Karl - he looked pretty shocked at Karl’s vitriol as well.
Here’s the email I sent Rush earlier...
“Rush, after Rove’s despicable attack against O’Donnell on Hannity’s TV show last night, I will refuse to listen to your show when Rove subs for you.
I hope you address his actions on your show today. His behavior was low and uncalled for, with friends like him who needs Democrats.”
I’m done with Rove, and if the RNC doesn’t support O’Donnell, then that will be the last straw with them too.
Levin’s FB posting...
“Who chose Rove to run the GOP? But now we know why so many of the beltway boys and girls have been singing from the same song book. Again, I will deal with this on my radio show later today.
Didn’t these guys set back the GOP and conservative movement far enough in the years they were in charge?”
and he links to...
After hearing Rove on FNC again this morning, I am convinced he is against her for ‘moral reasons’ because he doesn’t think her stories add up and that she will be exposed as a certifiable liar. (Never mind that he have it his best shot, along with Weekly Standard, etc).
Rush is on. Making smae points as we did. Where was this Karl during Bush admin. and against democrats?
ME: Also where is this Karl when Sarah is attacked and smeared?
Thanks STARWISE.
