1. The victory of Christine ODonnell in the Delaware Senate race is the fourth defeat for the so-called establishment Republican candidate in a primary this year preceded by Rand Paul in Kentucky, Sharron Angle in Nevada, and Joe Miller in Alaska. Thats the East Coast, a border state, the Southwest, and way the hell and gone an unmistakable demonstration that the Republican party is reconstituting itself in an unprecedented fashion.

Everyone else is reinventing themselves in order to survive, except for the Federal Government and the politcial parties. Darwin may not be right in everything, but it is survival of the fittest right now.
With all left and right journalists calling for O’Donnells demise. I was surprised to read this.
By the way, after all this time here, this is my first post. Very proud of myself.
It is good to unnerve those too long in the Senate.
You did well. : )
Welcome.
Good post. Welcome.
Where’s Michael Steele tonight? Has he “steeled” himself up with RINOs to plan and plot? The whole bunch of them best be paying wide-eyed attention tonight.
“....Sharron Angle in Nevada....”
JEEEEEEZE!!! Has she won yet?!?
Don’t get people too excited YET!!!! (or have I missed something tonight?)
Don’t forget Bennett!!
” ... GOP is actually expanding and seizing the populist mood that seems to be the national direction even though the GOP leadership, especially in the Senate, is finding the whole business unnerving and destructive. ... “
I truly believe this is indeed the case. Corrupt GOP elites are as much the enemy as the CommieCrates. People’s patience with DC corruption is at an end.
Woe to the money changers and fellow travelers!
Good job!! Neatly done.
after all this time here, this is my first post. Very proud of myself.
The Republican party is not so much “reconstituting itself” as it is being reconstituted by the Tea Party movement, Sarah Palin, Jim DeMint, and other good Reagan conservatives.

I have never seen a split between the political class and their supporters like this. Rove really drove the disconnect home. It is becoming clearer that the new Conservative mission is to just defeat the incumbents before we can gain enough control to take over fully. McLame types will not relinquish power any other way.
Waiting for the first Castle troll to come along demanding that Podohoretz ‘prove’ that she can win.
I think Jane Norton, Charlie Crist and a few others could be added to this list.
We need to reach across that aisle like the Dem’s do. With a machete to lop off the traitors ability to destroy the greatest nation God ever created.
