Send the RINOS some TEA
My seething mind | 14SEP10 | Moi

So the NRSC has decided not to support Tea Party candidates even though they win the primaries? Okay. I say we send them a message, and it's a very easy one.

Go to your kitchen and grab a bag of tea. You know, the single-serving ones you put in a cup. Slip it into an envelope. Address the envelope to:

National Republican Senatorial Committee
Ronald Reagan Republican Center
425 2nd Street NE
Washington, DC 20002

Slap a stamp on that baby and drop it in the mail. Takes five minutes and ought to get the point across.

I just typed in Karl Rove on Yahoo’s search engine, and his web site came up.

I think you have mentioned what I think is part of the problem with republican leadership. They seem to be under the impression that they are immune to tea party anger, that whatever candidates THEY endorse are the ones the tea party should support. We are tired of business as usual in washington, democrat or republican. Democrats are running scared, republicans thought they could ride the tea party wave based solely on the “r” by their name. They may still be dead in the water if they don’t wise up.
I, for one, am thrilled to see talk finally turning to action.

Message to GOP: A Rino is a Whig with no hair—but will share the same fate!

I also just sent them the Lipton tea wrapper. Told them I wouldn’t waste a perfectly good cup of tea let alone any more $ on them. They aren’t listening to us anymore than Obama’s administration is.

You should include a check for 5 cents. Then they can waste 40 cents sending you a receipt.

How about you just save the $1.25 and instead just send Christine O’Donnell and Tea Party candidates some money..it may be more effective (even if it feels less satisfying).

Ruling Class RINOs Draw Line in the Sand Over the Delaware Race - Sept. 14, 2010

(excerpt)

“This is far more significant than that. And the issue here is not preserving the Republican Party. If the Republican Party is not interested in preserving the country, then what good is the Republican Party? And if the Republican Party nationally does not see where we are as a country, and where we’re headed, what good are they? It means their reason for winning is not the same as ours, is it? (interruption) Well, that’s what I’ve been saying. I’ll guarantee you what’s gonna happen. This is all gonna lead to a third party and do you know what’s going to happen then? The Republican Party is going to be the third party. The Republican Party is going to be the minority party. This Tea Party bunch, whatever it is, if it leads to a third party, the present-day Republicans are going to be the one with 10%. They’re going to be the genuine third party.”

I believe the point that some are trying to make is that because of the anthrax scare, actual tea should not be sent. It will be intercepted. Send the wrapper and the tag off the bag, or a photocopy.

My tea bag just went out the door. The National Republican Senatorial Committee, people like Karl Rove, Bill Kristel and their ilk are going to bury themselves in their own muck. Go Tea Partys!

Where ever you send your money, check. Make a copy of that check and send it along with the Tea bag to the NRSC.

Got to get your dig in there every where you can.

I will settle for the Tea Party, but I more so want OUR REPUBLICAN PARTY back. We will not give it to them that easily, not until the last straw has been broken.

I am a Republican, the RINOS are not, they have to leave. NOT ME.
