Karl Rove throws in the towel and disses O'Donnell (vanity)
FoxNews Channel ^ | 9/14/2010 | DTogo

Talk about sour grapes! Karl Rove just regurgitated on Hannity all the RINO talking points against Christine O'Donnell and basically says he thinks this is no longer a seat the GOP can win. She's got "character flaws," didn't explain to the voters the discrepency in her college degree, Castle was the other "conservative" choice for voters...It's all over for Karl, his fellow RINO lost to an actual Big "C" Conservative.

I never was one to give credence to conspiracy theory but I think it may be more than coincidence that the Council on Foreign Relations keeps showing up more and more in the news.

I saw it. I was so angry. Shows you that Rove is a man of Party, not Principle.

bear in mind that Castle co-founded a group with George Soros.

Didn’t know that...

Instead of embracing O'Donnell, the diehard old school RINOs are stooping to attack mode. It's disgusting and insulting to a large majority of conservatives.
Yes, of course.
The Rockefeller RINOs know their only shot at survival, their only shot of clinging to the tiny shred of power they have left is to sabotage real conservatives running in liberal RINO states in New England and the like.

If a candidate like O'Donnell does as well as the RINOs who always run and lose, or heaven forbid, does BETTER than their vaunted RINOs, then the RINOs' last argument is exposed for the lie it is.

The get their candidates because they have convinced Republicans, just as they did with McCain in 2008, that only a RINO can win. But the last time a non-RINO was allowed to run was Ronald Reagan. Not coinicdentally, it was the last time a Republican won in New England.

Republicans are starting to doubt the RINOs' propaganda.
That is why they must destroy O'Donnell, to make sure that the truth doesn't finally get a chance to see the light of day.

They were not razor thin victories in the Congress and Senate levels. We expanded (took back the Senate in 2002) but expanded on our majorities in Congress in 2000, 2002, and 2004. I don't believe that was ever done before by the parting controlling the WH.

Could be a blessing in disguise. The Dems would try to associate her with the ‘failed policies of the past’. All she needs to do is say, judging from what Karl Rove had to say about me, I’m the furthest thing from what you all are pointing to as the past.

2005: "Rove you magnificent bastard!"

2010: "Rove...you bastard."

Those were my sentiments as well. Seems like only yesterday we were all singing his praise.

Couldn’t agree more...she came across as a bit paranoid in that Weekly Standard interview with John McCormack, claiming that operatives from another campaign were hiding in her bushes. Mr. McCormack has been thoroughly trashed in some sections of talk radio and the blogosphere, but he’s hardly a left-wing journalist. Just wait until the MSM comes after Ms. O’Donnell.

There’s also the matter of how she got by on an income of $5,000 last year. And that harassment lawsuit. Believe me, the opposition research staff at the DNC won’t be lacking for ammunition when they go after O’Donnell.

The Tea Party movement has given us some great candidates—Joe Miller in Alaska is just the latest. But it has also given us some clunkers, including that doofus who got the GOP nomination for governor in Colorado—the same guy who lied about his career in law enforcement. Not sure if he has dropped out of the race, but he should. Thanks to his deceit, a potential GOP pick-up is gone.

And I’m afraid O’Donnell will do the same thing in Delaware. It’s one thing to mouth the Tea Party talking points, but most of us expect the candidates to live those values in their personal lives as well. I hope I’m wrong, but in the case of Ms. O’Donnell, I see someone with tons of personal baggage who may not be able to stand up to public scrutiny, and will lose her race in Nov.

An open question to Delaware Republicans: are Castle and O’Donnell the best you can do?

I remember when the FR membership worshipped at KR’s feet.

Just goes to show that we're about principles and not personalities - similar to how we criticized Jorge Bush when he flopped on certain issues, and Sarah when she supported Juan McQueeg.

Rove Perino , etc are helping the left, illegals, homosexuals etc so you are right and it is disgusting.

We’ve had enough of the country club elitist types who only care about their little worlds and their power.

They give us homosexuality illegals but they will not living with what they gave us.

Times up RINO’s

Winning the primary is completely worthless if a Democrat wins in November. Rove is about winning elections/Republican majorities. In his opinion (and mine as well) this is a seat the Republicans could have won, but will not.

This increases the chance that Reid will be scheduling bills and votes in the Senate for the next two years. Two more years of watching things like the Dream Act being stuffed into a Defense bill. I am not ok with that, are you?

Worse than that, those two scumbags and their pseudo-conservatism so revolted the American people, that they went temporarily insane and elected a communist Kenyan president.

Excellent!!!!

Seats that will vote FOR Obama's ideology anyway.

Not completely. Remember, the majority party sets the agenda - on the floor and in committee. That is why the Roves and Krauthammers are upset to some degree.

I understand it... but the people are speaking. I like it.
