I will admit to not following this race. But it appears to me that if there is no difference to having Castle instead of a Democrat, where's the downside in O'Donnell's victory. Except for one thing. If this makes the difference at some point as to which party controls the Senate, then if she loses where Castle might have won, then the Democrats would control the Senate. That's the big gamble with O'Donnell. But as far as the voting is concerned, Castle would be just like having a Democrat.
Anyway now it's critical that the GOP get behind O'Donnell. The big shots of the GOP might have to eat some crow but that's politics.

There was concern Castle might have switched parties to become a Democrat after the election if he remained in office.
We won't have to worry about that now. It was essential he be booted out and a strong message be sent to fellow RINOs.

Castle would of been another Jumpin Jeffords if Obama needed.

Maybe, but it also tells Republicans candidates across the country that they better do more than pay lip service to the tea party / conservatives. If you get elected as a Republican, you better actually govern as a Republican.
As long as you're playing "if", you might consider, "what IF Castle had been elected and then pulled a Jumpin' Jim Jeffords on day 1?" or "What IF Senator Castle gave the Democrats cover on Marxist legislation, allowing them to claim it's 'bipartisan'?"

But there is. Castle was/is considerably more moderate than the leftist lunatic that is the Democrat nominee.
“Anyway now it’s critical that the GOP get behind O’Donnell.”
Yes, it is.

And that is why Castle is gone! We the people will pick off as many of the RINO/DEMS we can, and the Primary is the place to do it! GO CHRISTINE!

I just heard from Bret Bair on Greta that the GOP has said they WILL NOT support O’Donnell, period. “Not a dime” was, I think the wy Greta summarized it.
