I posted this on the other thread on this:
“8. Count them. 8 candidates supported by the Republican Senatorial Committe have lost their primaries. My source: Rachel Maddow. Chrissie Matthews is worried she can win. Paraphrased, “I’ve heard all my life that the Republicans have done such a stupid thing, nominating Orrin Hatch in Utah, or Ronald Reagan, and they carry that momentum right into the fall. Look at this crowd (at O’Donnell’s headquarters), you won’t see that kind of energy in any Democratic party tonight.” etc. etc.”

Who am I to argue with tingle in his legs Chrissie?

I’m going to let you all in on a little secret. Please don’t spread this around. Ready?

The more that the news media pushes their poll results showing that Christine O’Donnell has no chance to win, the more likely she is to win.

Yes, you read that right? How can that be? Well, this election will be all about turnout, and the Democrat electorate is already, shall we say, unenthusiastic about this election. The more they hear that O’Donnell doesn’t have a chance, the more likely they are to think that their vote probably isn’t really needed, which will result in a large number of them staying home on election day. O’Donnell, on the other hand, has a committed base of supporters who are literally going to crawl over broken glass in a hailstorm to vote for her if that’s what it takes, no matter what the polls say.

I say she wins by 2-3%.

Shhhhhh...
