Tea party-backed Christine O'Donnell wins GOP nod for Senate race in Delaware
True.... very true. I will be a nervous wreck until November.
The Mike Castles of the world won't protect you from what you rightly fear. They'll compromise with the Devil for their own benefit, giving the other side the means and the opportunity to blame the Constitutional/capitalist part of the compromise for its failure, and thus incrementally make policy ever more socialist and anti-Constitutional.
Reality only gives you two choices: Stand up for correct principle, or lose the war one way or another. Mike Castle cannot and will not save you.
Tonight was the night that Rove, Krauthammer, etc became RINOS according t most Freepers. LOL, politics truly is a joke.
The odds of O'Donnell winning are much less than Castle. However, it this particular race, I'm glad to see Castle go. But I do agree with Rove in that O'Donnell is quite flawed going into Nov. But if ever there was a year for an upset, this Nov will be it.
Chrissie Matthews said she could win though . . . he’s been around the block politically and knows what an energized conservative base means. They are an insane sports caster and a lesbian radio talk show host.
Very true! She would be a waste of resources.
That is putting it mildly. They are going to go positively APE S***! This will put the fear of God and HIS Tea Party into all of them and I for one say: Jolly good show!
12000 more voters turned out than expected. That should give ODonnell a pretty good bump.
I think they were saying the same thing this election cycle.... until the day before he switched parties.
Bingo.
And judging by this thread, there are some - amazingly - who still don't get it.
You are so right!
Now the money that could have gone elsewhere will have to be stretched even thinner to help out O’Donnell and Angle in Nevada.
If RINOs are so electable in New England, then why are only Democrats elected?
It is a simple test that the RINO logic does not stand up to.

Einstein’s definition of insanity. Doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Kudos.
I would’ve voted for O’Donnell tonight. You’re also right about Angle. She might’ve been the ideal candidate, but Tarkanian was still pretty conservative and that’s who I would’ve voted for.
AMEN! That is true.
You are an unprincipled jackass and deserve to have your rights taken from you by RINO capitulation.
The New Adventures of New Christine!
“Rove, a big supporter of immigration reform.
I loathe that cretin and RINOs like him because he was the one behind the big “comprehensive immigration reform” push (codeword: AMNESTY) in 2007. He still came out for it when the brouhaha about the AZ law was going on. But I digress.
I hope you are right, but we may be down by 3 - O’Donnell, Angle, and Fiorina. These were gimmies for the Republican Party, control of the Senate and stopping Obama.
I’m going to let you all in on a little secret. Please don’t spread this around. Ready?
The more that the news media pushes their poll results showing that Christine O’Donnell has no chance to win, the more likely she is to win.
Yes, you read that right? How can that be? Well, this election will be all about turnout, and the Democrat electorate is already, shall we say, unenthusiastic about this election. The more they hear that O’Donnell doesn’t have a chance, the more likely they are to think that their vote probably isn’t really needed, which will result in a large number of them staying home on election day. O’Donnell, on the other hand, has a committed base of supporters who are literally going to crawl over broken glass in a hailstorm to vote for her if that’s what it takes, no matter what the polls say.
I say she wins by 2-3%.
Shhhhhh...
NO! NO! NO!
Castle DIDN'T win, O'Donnell did.
