Castle's family must watch out, because we all know what happens to women of unemployed men.

Aren't the beatings usually dealt during the Super Bowl? That's what I've heard. I maybe mistaken.

I agree, McConnell is a big part of the problem.

The GOP is Big, but it doesn’t know how to play.

True. This is what Sarah meant when she talked about rebuilding the party. Getting conservatives elected will force the party to go the right on issues and policies.

Wonder how long this one will last?

Alphonse Faggiolo Done with the RNC!!! How dare you announce that, especially during O’Donnell’s victory speech. Classless and clueless! Time for Mr. Steele to step down, and time to give the RNC an enema! You have embarrassed and angered the majority of your own party. Now we’re going to show you who is in CONTROL!

You know, McConnell, Frist and Lott make me look fondly at the Bob Dole days.

Wow, never thought I’d write that.

For better or worse, O’Donnell is the nominee. Republicans need to get on board.

I agree.

They implored us to vote for the Republican they supported simply for the good of the party.

Well....its THEIR turn to hold their nose and vote for the Republican left standing.

And after I had to begrudgingly give my vote to McCain, they'd damn well better!

I agree.

In 2008 both sides had enthusiasm to vote (we had less, but Sarah and the prospect of Bill Ayers prowling the halls of the White House were pretty good motivators) and we got our butts kicked because of RINOs. This year our side has even bigger enthusiasm and the Dems have little.

I’m particularly angry at Rove and any other establishment GOP bozo who will be undermining her in the next few weeks, because if I could grit my teeth and support McCain to the hilt, these guys should be able to shut up and support the nominee of our party.

I read that Rove bashed the O’Donnell victory on Fox tonight and I’m glad I missed it. He’s part of the establishment and wants his country club Republican buddies to maintain their grip on the party. Not happening!

It was bad enough tonight from Rove and the NRSC announcement of no support for O'Donnell. But if the undermining sore losers carry on with this after tonight, they are really going to alienate and piss off some conservatives. I wonder if they're that stupid, or if they have the "if I can't have it, nobody can" attitude? They could really damage the party if they keep this up, and they've already created some definite rifts.

I meant to add to my post that Rush had some good articles on his site regarding the Delaware race today. He agrees, stuff the RINO's and vote for the most conservative candidate in the primary:

My email to info@nrsc.org:

So,

You’ll help that democrat Kirk get elected in Ill, but you won’t help O’Donnell in DE? Even if the balance of power in the Senate is at stake?

Way to express your values: I never want to hear that TEA party Conservatives don’t care about the ‘big tent’ again.

It is YOU that has the small tent. Remember that ‘listening tour’ y’all were going to be doing last year? Delaware has spoken. Are you listening?

We are speaking. We are taking our Party BACK from Y.O.U. Are you listening?

Can you hear us now?

Tell Cornyn that his turn is coming. . .

The difference is Joe Miller can win in Alaska.

Christine on the another hand has no chance.

She has already run twice for statewide office before and lost big.

She is not a fresh face and a career political loser and there is nothing to be gained by nominating such types.

the Rino Non Conservatives should have learned from Mccain

I have a lifetime of anger built up after being herded to the left by these two leftist, capitalist hating selfish political parties we have in this country.

Osama bin laden and Sadaam Hussein are no threat to america at all compared to our own political system [/rant]

I wouldn't place to much hope in that email being read. A recent poll had, IIRC, over 40% approval for Obama, among inside-the-beltway Republicans. It doesn't matter much. They heard what the people of Delaware had to say, but they aren't going to listen to them. They have made their choices, and now it is "game on", so to speak.

Cornyn's turn is indeed coming, but not before he sees his power slip from his hands. It is somehow poetic justice.

It appears the battle lines are drawn.

On one side, are Democrats and Republicans.

On the other side, is the Tea Party -- the American people
