In the statement, Murkowski said she would not run as a Libertarian candidate, which means that if she does run it will be as a write-in candidate. In explaining her decision, Murkowski had some harsh words for the Tea Party Express, which backed Miller.
"...After meeting with the Libertarian candidate last week and considering that option, I cannot in good conscience seek the Libertarian nomination," she said. "As disappointed as I am in the outcome of the Primary and my belief that the Alaska Republican Party was hijacked by the Tea Party Express, an outside extremist group, I am not going to quit my party. I will not wrap myself in the flag of another political party for the sake of election at any cost."

Well, if she thinks we’re extremists and Miller is one, then she owes the country the service of making sure the democrat wins. What is dingbat.

Republican cannibalism strikes again. It would really be nice for once if the ‘Pubs would fight against the real enemy (’Rats) instead of each other.

A liberal views anything "patriotic" as "extremist"...Murkowski is so busy hammering the final nails in her political coffin, she can't even see it.

Her opinion means very little now that she’s been tossed out.

Murkowski may as well be a Democrat. She has more in common with that party than with conservatism.

Lisa, extremism in the defense of Liberty is no vice. And moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.
To: kristinn
Lisa, the conservatives are laughing at you.
To: kristinn
Let this selfish bitch run as a write-in. It will mean nothing. Joe Miller is the next Senator from Alaska. And Alaskans will forever remember Lisa Murkowski with disgust.
To: kristinn
Miss Murky and her band of ruling class RINOs who feel entitled are getting their comeuppance.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Good luck with that with a name like Murkowski. Everyone has seen it for years, but then have to spell it correctly on the ballot instead of just filling in the bubble of the other guy. Sure thing.

Unfortunately, it does not have to be an exact spelling, just close enough for the vote counters.

Remember boys & girls, only conservatives are supposed to bow out gracefully and do what is best for The Party. Pi$$ on Murkowski - she found out she really wasn't entitled to anything.
