Debate begins at 8:00 p.m. You can stream the debate from here for video or here for audio. Kasich holds a double-digit leads in recent polls.
Great. I’m in for Delaware and Ohio. Two wins will be sweet victory.
Strickland has really hitting the airwaves lately attempting to paint Kasich as a Wall Street insider. I’m hoping Kasich will address this tonight.
Quick everyone, let’s start a conservative third party, and split the vote, so Strickland can win!!!!!
This is so tired and lame. Dems are doing this with nearly every Republican, painting them as “Wall Street insiders,” even when they’re not. This is the big strategy of the Dem campaign, connect all Republicans to Wall Street. The nation’s reaction? “Zzzzzz. We’re still voting all you Dem aholes out in 2 months.”
Hasn’t Kasich mainly been working for Fox News since the campaign? And since when is it illegal or immoral to work on Wall Street? Isn’t Obama’s Treasury Sec. a “Wall Street” insider? Wall Street didn’t cause the financial collapse...the federal government under liberal Democratic policies did!
I was thinking the same thing. He has run one dirty campaign. Strickland has yet to air an ad citing any of his accomplishments. Of course, if he did, it would be 30 seconds of silence. The man has essentially been a cadaver in office.
I’m pretty sure Kasich has the Tea Party vote here.
Does anybody have any ideas for a drinking game for this debate? If I drink every time Strickland mentions Kasich’s ties to Lehman Brothers, I’ll be passed out by 9.
It took literally 10 seconds for Strickland to blame Wall St and Bush for his bad performance.
idiot moderator asking Strickland to prove a negative.
No Ted, you’re the one that doesn’t like Ohio.
I'll just pray for Kasich (and donate and make callse for him). He has GOT to win!
That’s why I always buy a six-pack beforehand.
This idiot reporter doesn’t understand that raising taxes doesn’t mean you raise revenues.
Doesn't work for a teetotaller, though. ;)
(From what I've heard, Strickland is lying through his teeth, and Kasich is doing fine).
All Strickland can do is blame Wall St. He’s also trying to run to the right of Kasich on shrinking government. You would think Strickland is a center-right Republican the way he is debating when not mentioning Wall St.
After that video last week, Strickland has no right to call anybody impulsive.
I don’t suppose that Strickland mentioned that Wall Street went heavily for his buddy bud, Obama............did he??
I love it. Kasich is citing a study from the Brookings Inst. to prove what a joke Strickland is.
