Whats going on in NH?I don't know, but I'm certain that one of the conservatives won: Ovide or Ayotte. Likely Ovide, since he got the newspaper's endorsement and Ayotte got smeared badly by other losing candidate in the race.

Both Rove and Dana reared their ugly RINO heads. Tom DeLay just pretty much called them fools. Watching Cavuto on Fox Business. DeLay also said, this election, meaning November 2010, is unlike any we have ever had. The people are pissed!

There has been a paradigm shift in politics since 2004 or haven’t you noticed? Good Grief!

I’m still here. See post 667. You want a piece of that action?

I have to give Chris Matthews credit though, he did say that O’Donnell could win in November. She has momentum, and the general is only 50 days away. Matthews has been around a long time and he does understand how things work and that the old rules are out the window this year.

Sorry, meant to type #731. The link is good, but to fix the other part:
There is a song to sing to that about, see post [#831] #731:

I got a sneaky feeling that a lot of the big wigs are going to take a closer look at the tea party and the conservative movement and decide whether they want to go fishing and play golf or be a part of our movement!!! TICK TOCK

Though the labels congressman/congresswoman are usually reserved for members of the U.S. House of Representatives, they are appropriate labels for members of either the Senate or the House of Representatives.........

Remember this wasn't a GOP seat to start with. If we lose, we are no worse off then we were before. Put the emotion aside and look at the big picture reality. If we only win six or if we win 11 thre is no way we We aren going to pass anything over a Dem filibuster or Obama's veto. One more vote that can't be counted on won't make any difference either way. As for the worries about the supreme court, we need 41 solid, unbreakable, unbribeable votes. That is all. All we can do for the next two years is stop Obama. To do that we need those same 41 solid conservative votes. Adding one more seat that we can't count on doesn't make us any more secure so long as the RINOs are willing to sell out or pull a Jefforts/Specter.
At them moment it looks like we will have 6 or 7 RINOs in the Senate after the election. However the credible threat that any RINO that breaks ranks, as Castle did with Cap-n-Tax, Campaign Finance and Wall street ripoff, will be primaried will help to keep the RINOs in line. So ending Castle's career will add one vote to the Dem's total. However it (combined with what happened in Utah, Florida, Alaska and to some extent Arizona) will firm up the votes of 6-7 RINOs in the Senate. A trade of 1 vote that won't make a difference to lock in 6-7 that are absolutely critical is one I will normally take.
And that assumes that we will lose the seat. If we win it with a sold conservative (extreme long shot to be sure, but not impossible this year) all the better. But it was worth getting rid of Castle, no matter what happens on November 2.

"Karl Rove doing the lefts dirty work on Hannity."
Gotta hand it to Hannity. Man oh man!!! He stood his ground for the Conservatives. Rove was wiped out by him.
Notice how it's only conservative talkers (radio and Hannity) who are standing up for the Tea Partiers and standing up to the establishment Rep's? After listening to Rush today, I thought, wow, Rush is going to teach these establishment guys a lesson tonight with this DE race.....and he did.
It is time to stand with conservatives. If they have some weak spots, then the establishment can help bolster their case.....not tear them down when they've just won a primary.
This country is in deep trouble with everything the dem's have done in the last two years. It's not a matter of moving it back little by little. We need major change. Conservative candidates will shake things up.

Here’s the full data:
State Obama Approval Obama 2008% Decline
Delaware ... 46/48 ... 62 ... -16
More people dislike Obama than like him in DE.
Looks good for DE.
Start with Christine 48 / Coons 46.
Christine needs to pick up 2% of the 8% who are unsure about Obama.
Plus add that our side is fired up and their side isn’t.

Someone was saying this morning that whoever is the Pres nominee needs to pick a moderate Repub because that’s what Reagan did and that’s political reality and blah blah blah.
I argued of course. It is NOT the political “reality” any more, if it ever was.
Times are changing.

Heck, she has just as much a chance as anyone else, probably better. NO DEM is gonna try to run on Obozo’s epic fail and IF she plays it right, she’s gonna be able to hang OBOZO around the Dem’s neck and WIN this thing. A visit from Sarah and some good coaching...we’ll see!!

Rove just flat lied about her; He smeared her in such a vile fashion. Sarah Palin ought to lambaste this jerk and make him a pariah.Well, you know, Rove is *not* a fan of Sarah's, so she might have something to say. She's also employed by Roger Ailes and as you know, Sarah is here in the lower 48 this week.
