Of course they do.
The problem is that conservatives are caught in a trap that the GOP has crafted over the last 30-40 years The perpetual argument of the GOP establishment has been that “if conservatives will just sit back and allow liberal Republicans to win primaries, those same liberal Republicans will change their ideological stripes and vote conservatively when it really matters. After all, we can’t afford to give up THAT seat.”
The problem is we have decades of experience to show that it doesn’t work out. A liberal is a liberal regardless of their party label.
As conservatives, we do far better to lose straight up than to endure a loss of a thousand cuts when we work to elect liberals who mouth the conservative mantra, if they mouth it at all, just long enough to retain power.
While emotion enters into it, I think there is also the coolheaded realization emerging that the if the GOP will not elect conservatives, then perhaps conservatives are better off without the GOP.

No, mnehring worked for Cornyn and he neglected to take mnehring off “his” email that is sent to *his* staff!
So this was an email from Cornyn himself, to his staff?
He should consider forwarding that email. It could become a famous chain email.

A road trip to Delaware might be the way to go for a fund raiser for O'Donnell. But, as you've said, the "big guys", coupled with the Tea Party, could get a lot done!

Come November, when we kick a lot of ass, the establishment GOP will take credit, falsely and arrogantly, and we'll have to do it all over again in November 2012!

For the NRSC to announce this is simply unconscionable.
Coming off the huge victory is the first chance to make some huge inroads with non-Republicans and start building momentum, the last thing she needs is for them to giving the MSM who are working against her a negative story to pour cold water on her campaign.
It’s not just they won’t help her to win, they are already actively trying to help her lose. It is disgusting.

It was unbelievably exciting! I never saw more news trucks in one place in Delaware in my life! They will need to move the victory party to a bigger place in November!
