Washington (CNN) - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Tuesday he will add the DREAM Act, a controversial immigration measure, to a defense policy bill the Senate will take up next week.
The decision means the defense bill, which often passes with bipartisan support, will be home to two major, thorny political issues – the other being the repeal of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
Reid called the DREAM Act "really important" and said it should be passed because it provides a path to citizenship for young illegal immigrants who go to college or serve in the military. DREAM is an acronym for Development, Relief and Education of Alien Minors Act.

Has anyone noticed that you don’t see any other countries contemplating such a move? Only in the USA, and only by democRATS. be found in another country illegaly and we’ll have to send Jimmy Carter to obtain your release. If you’re lucky our reciprecal agreements with these countries will have them take you to the nearest Amer. Embassy provided you are not suspected of some other crime.
They can spin that so that even a lot of people opposed to gay marriage won't get too upset with their representatives over voting for it. However, if you add both of these issues it would seem like the intent is to just obstruction.

One suspects that Mister Reid has been promised a huge position in exchange for taking a big (and embarrassing) electoral whack for the (alleged) team.
Imagine Mister Reid's surprise when he finds out that (just like all the gazillions of lies he's obediently repeated) there will be ... "no job for you".

This is one evil man who would endanger our security by trying to pad our self-defense appropriation bill with a Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barak Obama re-election ploy, a last ditch effort to try to hide the vile stuff they’ve been pulling. Remember this clown and his machinations when you vote November 2, 2010. ‘Revenge of the Nerds’ endeared us with people slightly off the median line. Harry Reid puts us back on track, big time!

Read the DREAM Act. It is amnesty for all illegal aliens under the age of 36. This isn’t even stealth amnesty.

Also in this bill is the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, and over a billion dollars of pork.
