Third-party gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo will keep his spot on this fall's ballot.
Denver District Court Judge William Hood issued the ruling Tuesday in a lawsuit brought by two Republicans challenging Tancredo's inclusion in the race.
The former Republican congressman is running as the American Constitution Party's gubernatorial candidate.
The lawsuit claimed Tancredo violated state law when he got the American Constitution Party's nomination because he was not registered with them for at least 12 months.
Tancredo told the judge Monday that his party's bylaws trumped state law when he got his last-minute nomination in July.
It will be fun to see if Coloradans can think on their feet. Maes turned out to be a false bill of goods. The Dems don’t really love Chickenlooper as he has a bit of business man left in him and is unlikely to tow the party line. If Tancredo can get the message out, this will be a real interesting race.
As much as I think Tancredo is opportunistic and a one-issue candidate only at least he’s not corrupt. I guess I have to vote for him.

Tancredo may not be dishonest but he is disingenuous. He is arrogant, he cheated his way onto the ballot.

And he is NO conservative. Tancredo is a big spender. He is a social conservative but a big spender. Just look at his record.
I don’t need him changing CO into a social jail with massive debt. That would not help the GOP in future years.
Tancredo has no solution for Colorado’s job problem. That is our biggest issue, not immigration. I agree with him on immigration but it isn’t the biggest issue.
Someone needs to tell Tank that “it is the economy stupid” if he wants to win.
Otherwise we Coloradans will just be pissing away our votes no matter who we vote for.

Though I voted for Maes in the primary, he has become unelectable. Therefore I will be voting for Tom.
I look forward to Tancredo exposing Chickenpooper’s radical leftist connections and donations to communist causes, as well as his stance as champion for illegal Mexicans making Denver a sanctuary city.
Oh, well, we just need to concentrate on Buck, SOS, Treasurer and the General Assembly. It can still be a pretty good year, especially when you throw in 1-3 pick ups in Congress.
I agree. But the more I know of Maes the more I consider him a scam artist. We didn’t have any good candidates this year for governor (in a year that an honest elk could’ve beat H-looper). We still don’t. Tancredo’s probably the cleanest out of all of them, and I don’t even agree 100% with him on immigration.

Someone turned it around and called the evil of two lessors. The Tea Party is big enough to take its place and make the Republicans the lessor party.
