Announcement: Melissa Haluszczak is a Conservative running to defeat Democrat Mike Doyle for PA-14. Doyle was instrumental in convincing the Stupak Pro-lifers to abandon their principles and vote for the abortion provisions in the Obama Healthcare bill.
Melissa is a lovely, energetic woman who supports our Conservative ideals 100%. Check her website for positions on the issues.
Melissa will be holding a townhall meeting Wednesday evening, Sept 15 at Baldwin Borough (click the web link above for details).
Doyle is hiding. He's afraid to hold his own Town Hall meeting. He's afraid to face his constituents. But Melissa is after him. She is working hard to defeat a lazy, comfortable Democrat.
I'll be at the townhall. I hope lots of Pittsburgh Conservatives will be there too.

I did volunteer for her campaign. Does that ban me from posting about her? I wish the RINO state GOP would give her some media attention.
I, too, am fed up with this piggish gov that has grown under the progressives (like Mike Doyle & even some repubs). I know Melissa is different because she isn’t a career pol. I just wish someone like the Tea Party Express would catch on to her. *sigh*
I’m afraid we’ll be stuck with another term of Doyle.

Yes. At 4 p.m. Today a judge ruled that the school had to allow her meeting to go on. See the trib webite www.pittsburghlive.com. I’d like to post more about this but I’m on an iPhone with one hand and bathing a toddler with the other.
Any ideas on how to get our race some national attention??
Well, I didn’t get the cancellation e-Mail so I blithely went to the meeting. There was no discussion of the cancellation that I heard.
What was the supposed reason for the cancellation?
I did hear that Quinn refuses to interview Melissa on air because he’s a “National Show” now.

He school district decided to cancel, based on what I read in the Trib. It sounded fishy.
Quinn & Rose refuse to give Melissa air time because they say they don’t focus on local races since it’s a national show. What BS!! I distinctly remember them interviewing a candidate for mayor of Pittsburgh. Also, what about Colonel Allen West??? He’s race could be considered “local” to the FL district he represents. Total garbage IMO and I’ve list respect for Quinn (never could stand Rose anyway)
