Jury selection began in Paterson Tuesday in the trial of a self-declared prophet on charges he raped and purposely impregnated one of his teen-age daughters.
Ayinde, seen in a March court hearing, faces two counts of aggravated sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault, one count of child endangerment, one count of lewdness, one count of criminal sexual contact and one count of aggravated criminal sexual contact. When Aswad Ayinde was arrested in July 2006, prosecutors described him as a blueblood, or someone who believes in keeping his bloodlines pure. In all, five of Ayinde's daughters were allegedly raped.

Apparently this guy hadn’t heard about the adverse effects of in-breeding: maybe he never saw Deliverance or traveled around the “hollers” of Kentucky? Leaving aside the perversity of a) raping b) your own daughter, any progeny produced by this man’s ill-advised actions might likely have made a bloodline purist gag.
